We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. If you love historic homes, this is a must-see. Our room was beautiful and spacious. The coffee from The Coffee House downstairs was delicious! We understand the new owners have plans to continue renovating. Can't wait to see the updates when we return!
I love the enchiladas, burgers and fish fry. Their weekend brunch though is THE BEST. Get the massive Bloody Mary! Or get pancakes, waffles made fresh!, or my personal favorite, Biscuits and Gravy. Homemade food by real people. Not some cafeteria style, Sysco nonsense. A real friendly, hometown place. highly recommend
All American as you can get. Cute corner site on Main Street. Portion sizes too the moon. Overall good food and pleasent staff.
Speaking of the tavern, they have a good selection of beers limited, but good. In my opinion, there are three good restaurants in this area: Mac's Seafood in Saline, Evans Street Station in Tecumseh and Clinton Inn. Besides good food, these three restaurants all have one thing in common. They all have professional chefs.
We loved the esthetic and the service. Everyone seemed to enjoy working there and the food was very tasty. I got the mimosa and was very pleased with it, however my friend got a Bloody Mary and didn't need to order breakfast with how generous they were with the portions.
Amazing food with incredibly friendly service! Highly recommend for a nice dinner or brunch in a historic location! If you are lucky, maybe you'll see a ghost.
We went for brunch and everything was great. The waffles you got to choose from a list of many toppings and the eggs benne were amazing! While we were there someone ordered a bloody Mary and it was huge! It was like they put a whole charcuterie board on it! I didn't care for the mimosa but the coffee was delicious.
food was delicious staff was awesome and the outdoorseating was very refreshing
