First impressions Total sports bar. Expected pub food, but there were specials on the board that were actually a special, and the soup I had was home made. Place is clean and tidy, I did expect it to be busier on a jays game night however. The loaded poutine was not bad, lacked cheese and more gravy. But there two for one wings are great.
Ordered their wings and I have to say they were cooked to perfection. The gentleman that was serving us was great. We are new to the area and this little pub restaurant was very cozy. we will be back for sure.
We love The Cliff! It is my 5 year old son’s favourite restaurant. He asks to go there all the time. Of course he asked to go for his birthday. When the staff found out it was his birthday they took such good care of us and made him feel extra special. Thank you so much!
I had a really awful experience at this restaurant. I called ahead and clearly stated that I only wanted something vegetarian or chicken-based—absolutely no other meat. The person who took my order a woman assured me I’d get a chicken Caesar salad wrap and fries. But when I picked up my food, it had bacon in it—exactly what I said I didn’t want. When I pointed out the mistake, she was rude and dismissive, and instead of apologizing, she basically told me I wasn’t welcome back.nnSo here’s my bad review: if you have dietary preferences, don’t trust them to get it right. They don’t listen and they’re not respectful when they make a mistake. Definitely not going back.
Friendly crowd encouraged us to play bingo while we waited for our food. Clubhouse and forty creek burger were fantastic! Great stop while passing through Sudbury.
