I took a one-day pottery workshop and was very disappointed. The instructor only focused on a few people and mostly ignored the rest of the class, which made the experience uncomfortable. We weren’t allowed to use the pottery wheel and had to work only on a table, which wasn’t what I expected.nnThe studio also handled the glazing, but the final result was poorly done. When I picked up my piece, it had messy black stains and careless finishing see photos. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this workshop.nnIf you want it sharper or softer, I can adjust the tone
I had a wonderful experience taking the 101 wheel class with Courtney! She is welcoming, fun, and really made sure that everyone grew their skills during the six week course. I learned so much! The studio is also welcoming, fun, and there’s everything you need! After the course, I joined as member to keep practicing and can’t wait to take a 102 class soon!nnUPDATE: The 102 class helped me build my confidence and explore new forms, like vases and bowls! I especially valued the one-on-one feedback from both Courtney and Evelyn. They offered excellent suggestions to help make my pieces thinner and closer to my original ideas! Thank you both, and I look forward to taking another class soon!
My items arrived quickly and earlier than the stated date. Packed well and exactly as I ordered ! Loved the items tucked in stickers and log book… likely a return customer… will recommend to potter friends!
A super-special place run by fantastic humans. The Clay Warehouse has been a consistently excellent experience; from classes to drop-ins, the people and atmosphere. It's warm, welcoming and makes pottery easily approachable for anyone.n 5-stars would recommend again.
Finally had the chance to take the CW 101: Beginners Wheel Throwing Workshop at the Clay Warehouse and have found my happy place. Courtney and Tara are knowledgeable, talented and encouraging. You'll have a good laugh each class too. The shop is great, so much to look at and a place for husbands as the go-to for gifts! Highly recommended the Clay Warehouse!
