We wanted to take some salads on our flight so we stopped at Chopped Leaf. I think it was the owner who was working. We were given a thorough run down of the menu and also some of their favourites. We ended up getting two Bangkok salads and adding tuna and egg based on the owner’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. We also got a soup which was packed with flavour. We were also offered some refreshing cucumber waters as first time guests. You can tell the owner really cares about the food they serve and has a lot of pride. I would highly recommend supporting this business and trying their salads, sandwiches, and soups!
Great experience at Chopped. The service is on point and they take the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations. The flavoured water is amazing. They change it up every other day and it doesn’t disappoint…plus it’s complimentary! You have to try the Evil Peanut Dressing if you like a little kick. Telling all my friends about this place.
A delightful discovery. Good menu based on healthy nutritious delicious food. Fresh ingredients. Great pineapple flavoured ice cool refillable water. Excellent quick and friendly service. Spotless premises.
Tried The Chopped Leaf today and was so pleased! Very pleasant staff who put the customer first. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store. They ran out of rice today but offered quinoa as a substitute, they were very apologetic and gave us discount cards for the future which was thoughtful. I had the no. 1 wrap and was delighted with the flavors and crunch from the crushed pita chips which gave wonderful texture. It was nice having a very flavorful wrap that can sometimes be hard to achieve when your a vegetarian eating out. I prefer my wraps warm, the lady behind the counter was very kind to offer to grill it for me. The bowl below is what my husband had can't remember what option and he loved it. We felt full when we left and good, unlike many other quick option restaurants that leave you feeling heavy and bloated. We will definitely be returning, and my husband is excited for the option to add prawns to his next selection
The service was AMAZING. Better service than I've had at full sit-down restaurants. We were getting lunch before going to see a movie to celebrate my mother's birthday. They gave us some free waters, gave us a free gift card, and brought our food to the table. AMAZING! Cant say enough good things.
Outstanding. A solid 5. Very good service. They took time to explain the menu and how it worked. Better than Freshii. Mandarin raspberry water was very nice. Ingredients very fresh. Dressing and marinates are incredible. Will absolutely be back. Thank you for an excellent and memorable experience!
Just discovered this place over the holidays!! Food is fresh, delicious & not overpriced!! Staff are friendly and you are served with a smile!! Quick & wonderful. Always love the Chopped Water!! Tried the Thai Curry Soup & Sunshine Wrap…I will be back!!
Tried The Chopped Leaf for the first time and I cannot put into words how delish and refreshing the food was. All homemade dressings, breads, soups and delightful flavored daily water. Today's was orange cinnamon. I will forsure be back here. I want to also say how lovely the staff was! Came to our table to ask how the food was. Super personable and kind. I'd give 10 stars if I could.
I had the No. 1 salad bowl and a spicy chicken on sour dough bread. Wow. This is a combination of fresh, and deliciously nutritious food. There isn't a healthier place to eat in HRM right now. I absolutely will be back, and I'm going to try everything on the menu... eventually. Best kept secret in Dartmouth!
