The Children's Dental Centre

Dr. Masse and Dr. Gabriella have been taking care of my children for nearly 9 years. They are gentle, kind and accommodating. They don’t rush through appointments, they deal with each child to make them comfortable and safe. Since we began here, after bad experiences at other offices, both my children have enjoyed healthy teeth and have no fear of visiting the dentist. The hygienists and front desk team are kind and personable, they remember our names and go to great lengths to make each appointment as comfortable as possible. Even during difficult procedures all the staff are dynamic and accommodating letting my children tell them what they are comfortable with and what they don’t want. All procedures are done on site and parents are always welcome to help sooth their children during stressful moments. I have since moved quite a distance away from the office but I make the trek out there because the service we receive is worth it!!! I can’t stress enough how wonderful the staff are and I recommend this office to every family! We started there when my son was only 2 years old and we will remain with this office until my children are grown! Thank you Children’s dental Center for all you’ve done for our family!

I took my 2 year old son to have his teeth checked upon finding an obvious sign of cavities on his upper front teeth back in Oct/Nov 2017. As I had suspected his teeth were in a bad shape, but I did not think they were that bad that they have to be removed immediately, as per the dentist’s advice. I was so shocked that time since my son was just 2 year old, but I felt like I needed to do so immediately. But luckily my sister is also a dentist (although she does not live in Toronto), so I was able to get some assurance that it is not necessary to remove the teeth (she told me this, after seeing my son’s xray). So, I went to see another dentist who recommended me to a specialist in Yorkville. We had an appointment with this specialist on March 22, 2018 (about 4-5 months after seeing the dentist in this clinic) to get my son’s teeth fixed and he managed to fix my son’s teeth (he removed the cavities, took care the teeth bud and put some crowns on his front teeth and two more alum crown on his two other teeth) in total price that is cheaper than the cost if I had gone through with the removal option offered by the dentist in this clinic. This is why I only gave 1 star since even though the facility and the people are nice and wonderful, I would not trust them to take care my son’s teeth.

My young 3 year old daughter had cavities and Dr. Masse was amazing! As a mother I was very nervous because my daughter had to be put under anesthetics. I walked into the dental office the day of the procedure and as soon as I saw the staff, all my worries went away. Dr. Masse and everyone at The Children's Dental Centre are very patient and answered my million questions. They communicated every step of the procedure (before, during, after) and nothing was a surprise. The day went very smoothly. Dr. Masse even called me later that evening to see how Tessa was doing and answer any other questions I had (I never felt rushed and never felt I was asking a stupid question). The Children's Dental Centre is definitely the best place to bring your children and I am so happy I found them!

The clinic is the most inviting environment for children and the staff are such loving/knowledgeable people who make it rewarding for the kids/parents to want to come back. Dr. Masse is the Pediatric dentist in the city. My 3 year old had to get an extraction done it went absolutely flawlessly. My son had such a great experience and wasn’t traumatized in any way. She was so informative, caring and extremely comforting. I have absolutely no fears/concerns when my children are in her care bc I know they are being taken care of as if they are her own.

My daughter had a big dental procedure done on her with dr. Shonna under anasthesia. I was so nervous but the staff was very reassuring and professional. Dr. Shonna is very positive with great attitude and explained everything that I needed to know. Moreover, she phoned my home after hours to see how my daughter is doing which was very nice.
