Had the pleasure of being served by Nora tonight! We never once waited for our drinks, made sure to establish a good atmosphere with us and we were not disappointed! If you go to Ceeps - make sure you ask for Nora!
Was there for less than five minutes, forgot to pay for a drink. It was an honest mistake, and the bartender came and found us. Regardless of how much I apologized, and paid DOUBLE for my mistake, the bartender screamed and screamed and called us awful profanities. She was just so incredibly rude. Staff like that should not be employed at a nice establishment.
I was at the back bar when I tried to hand my girlfriend her change from the drink she bought. As she reached for the money, the male bartender in a tank top mistakenly assumed she was taking his tip and immediately started yelling, causing a huge scene. Worse, he aggressively grabbed her wrist in front of everyone, and was cursing her out aggressively.nnWhen I tried to talk to him afterward, he ignored me entirely. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I hope Ceeps takes action to ensure their staff handles situations with more professionalism in the future. My girlfriend was extremely upset and in tears/trembling from the situation. This has left us in shambles.
The pub is very big. It has open patio called barneys where people can sit outside in summer and have a beer and enjoy the sunlight. But patio is closed in winter. Pub from inside is also very big and if we talk about dancing area is the one thing i didn't like as there are security guards around the dancing area and they let some people to go to dancing area and dance and if get little bit full than they don't allow another people to let in, until some people didn't left dancing floor
I visited London last night with my cousins and brother, and this place was a total letdown. We waited in line only for the bouncer to refuse my cousin entry because he had an American ID. He’s genuinely from the U.S. and legal, but the bouncer didn’t even bother to ask for a second ID or any proof.nnI understand it’s a student bar and that fakes are common, but come on! When I asked why he couldn’t come in he kept saying, “You three can go in, but not him,” as if I would just abandon my cousin.nnWe found other bars nearby and had so much fun, but this experience here was disappointing and frustrating.nnAvoid this place if you want a decent night out.
