Walked in around 5 pm it was almost full but no waiting for a table. The stuff was friendly , Hostess did a great job the waitress was supper, if my memory isn't failing me I belive it was Ivy she was kind and attentive and very nice pro tip if you want great service be kind and friendly and you will have the same treatment back . It was our 10 year wedding anniversary so we ordered king crab $75 , snow crab $40, Shrimp $25 and a mix also $25 for appetizer we had calamari and 3 drinks . Shockingly a good deal. If u don't like spicy go for garlic, shrimp was Cajun , I found everything was good flavor and not salty. The potatoes were big chunks but let's be honest no one cares about those lol. Overall I was satisfied we had extra to take home . I found portions were desent lots of crab legs for the price.
This was my second visit to Captain’s boil. My partner and I have somewhat made it “our thing”.nThe platter was just as good as the last time, 9/10. It’ll be an EASY 10/10 is they had less oil/butter in the sauce but I suppose it’s the recipe.nThe seafood fried rice also tasted waaaay better this time than it did on my first visit so I’m guessing something’s changed for the better.nThey also have professional staff who are patient and helpful. I’ll highly recommend going to the Captain’s boil if you’re looking for some good seafood boil.nnWe had seafood fried riceenough for 2 people to share and The Captain’s Platter but I added broccoli.
Shrimp with Captain Boils spice was very good however I found the shrimp to be way too hot and a bit overdone. The rice with scallops and shrimp with the Captains Boil spice was very good. This restaurant is very loud.
We had a craving for seafood and we went to the right place. The platter was exactly what my family needed. I must admit, the menu was overwhelming, but the waitress guided us with to the perfect plate for us. The food was very good, messy and fun. The kids particularly enjoyed it.
We ordered the pirate’s feast it came with a single egg and half a piece of corn and 4 potatoes how is that worth 170$? This feast is supposed to feed 4-6 people how are you supposed to share a single egg and half a piece of corn? Very disappointed.
