The Canteen

We had a lovely and tasty Saturday brunch at the Canteen! Great atmosphere and food. Pancakes were amazing! Social distancing appropriate eating spaces too. Wren, our server, was excellent! Oh and the coffee....amazing. Can’t wait to see what they create across the street! We will be back!

Ana amazing gem in downtown Dartmouth. My friend had the seafood chowder and I had the braised brisket tacos. Both were very flavourful! They also have an outstanding wine list. Give them a try!

Our server Brett Marie was kind and welcoming, her and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Food was fresh, delicious and arrived promptly. I would highly recommend The Canteen to anyone and I look forward to returning to Dartmouth so I can have another top notch meal.

So glad I was able to try the Crobster Roll before it "hibernates" for the season. I got this to-go and it was loaded with crab and lobster meat, stuffed into their home made bun. Delicious!
