Come in for a coffee stay for a beer. Sandwiches and breakfast bagels made to order. Fresh baked stuff. Good music.

Don’t worry, the ‘spirit’ of F’Coffee is alive and well at The Cannonball. Rob just changed the name. Why? After 9 years in the neighbourhood, we still have great coffee but we also have beer, and ‘the best sandwich of all time’ (parliament street news) made to order to your preference and breakfast bagels and fresh baked stuff. The music is great (especially in the summer on the back patio, sometimes it’s live). Long story short, there’s more here going on than coffee.
Where did the name come from?
Sunlight Park was Toronto’s first baseball stadium, it was located just a short walk from our back patio. Ed 'The Cannonball' Crane was a pitcher and outfielder for the Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club. In 1887 (our building was about 10 years old) He led the Maple Leafs to their first International League Pennant, setting an all-time record with 33 wins). On one Saturday that year he pitched and won both games of a double header as well as hitting the winning home run in the second game.
Ed played this out in Sunlight Park.
We wanted to pay tribute to the man, and the heritage of our fine neighbourhood of Riverside.
