The Butter Churn Bistro & Creamery

Holy s#!&, this place is amazing! Was driving through town and needed a quick bite to eat, so I figured I'd give it a try. The BBQ sandwich and root beer float are some of the best I've had ANYWHERE, and I've tried a lot, all over the country. Also, they LOVE their veterans here. Super friendly place with amazing food. Seriously, give 'em a try.

Went in woman was eating at the table. I asked her if she had any burgers since my 2 yr old is super picky and won't eat much. Anyhow she was super annoyed and said "No we ain't got no burgers and ain't nobody sell any burgers in town best be going to McDonald's. We don't serve no chicken nuggets either." So needless to say we left. It was super rude to be told they "ain't got nothing" when we didn't even ask anything about chicken nuggets. Well, I asked her which bar it was that served the bug burgers with a steak knife sticking out of it and she looked super pissed and said there's two bars in town. She was reluctant to send us to another business in town to support her community. She was more interested in sending people to McDonald's and losing business. Disappointed especially after reading reviews I actually detoured here just for this place. Most places we go to will at least offer to whip up a grilled cheese or something for my 2 yr old without any issues and even suggested making something for her. Don't waste your time here. Service is rude and the woman seems bothered to have people around

Absolutely wonderful restaurant! For the patriotic, the atmosphere was welcoming and warm. The food was well-prepared, clean, and absolutely delightful. Family-friendly too! 20/10 would stop here again!

Amazing home cooked style food! Amazing kind hearted people! American values! A real small town gem hidden in the Midwest. Try any sandwich with the word Cuban in it and you won't be disappointed.

This was a great stop for lunch on the way to the black hills. I highly recommend eating here. The food was great, the staff were very friendly. I also loved that the proprietor was a patriot.
