I have been here 3 times in the last week and every meal I had was incredible. The service is amazing the young servers were so friendly and great at their job. The chef would come out and chat with you . Just an over all friendly place .This is my new favorite restaurant Kid-friendliness: All servers went out of their way to talk to you Parking: Lots of ample parking Wheelchair accessibility: Has a wheel chair accessible ramp !
Great food and atmosphere in this small, country, down-home feeling restaurant. Good prices and value for money, however, the service we received was the only reason that I can't give them 5 stars. The place wasn't full, but the wait staff seemed too busy for us and didn't really make much of an effort. Probably a one off, so I'll be back for sure!
This is such a perfect little restaurant, but it's too bad the service is sub-par, and the food is absolutely terrible. Ordered the Whiskey River Ribs, and the only redeeming food on the plate was the braised cabbage! The rice tasted like fruity pebbles. It tasted so sweet, it was gross. I'm not sure if that was done on purpose, but such a disappoint. The ribs were gross. The sauce on top was tasty enough, but the ribs lacked even the most basic of seasonings. They were somehow both dry, stringy and wet? Not moist, but wet. The baked brie is a great concept, but the whole clove of garlic was a pain in the butt to deal with. Kid-friendliness: Small but decent kids menu. Parking: Lots of spots beside and across from the restaurant, all free parking
We went here with the family and it was awesome. The service was great and the food was deliecious. The kids loved the decor and both of my boys raved about their kids meal; the macaroni and the spaghetti with a virgin mocktail. My husband and I enjoyed our meal and drinks and the portions were big. Since we all loved the place we all now joke that we will drive all the way to Broken Whisk when we want a nice dinner out from Surrey!
Great time with Steve Elliott, amazing buffet, and great drinks, first time at Broken Whisk, amazing menu, we will definitely be back with friends. Great service and friendly staff. Very clean and atmospheric restaurant.Recommended dishesBurger Special - Loaded with Onion Rings
What a gem of a place! Decorated with a mix of steam punk esque gear lights, cowboy paraphernalia, guitars in the ceiling, and random delights, this place was a hit with me and my family. Service was friendly and attentive, food was incredible … I had the pulled pork and my mouth still waters remembering it. Prices were reasonable. If you’re passing by, vacationing nearby, or just find yourself in town, you should go. Also .. look at that view!
Eat at this place. Don't pass by, don't think about it - just do. Excellent quality, wonderful decor, friendly service. You'll be doing yourself and your family a great disservice if you're in Agassiz and eat anywhere else. I live in Vancouver and have eaten at hundreds of places, and the quality and craftsmanship of the food delighted me. Looking around, you can see a great deal of care and time were put into renovating this restaurant. Do yourself a favour and eat here. It will improve your trip no matter how great a time you're already having!
Enjoyed our lunch visit. Decor was fun; service was decent; food was good! Win Parking: Loads of parking
Step off the Dewdney Trail and get ur fill of grub here! Large portions. If you've really got a hankerin', try the TexMex poutine. Everything's bigger in Texas... I had the Ironhorse bacon cheese burger. Vegetarian options: There are vegge options on the menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and ramp.
They have a fine selection of whiskey and their food is some of the best I've eaten and I am very picky when it comes to paying for food at a restaurant. The only drawback is the same that's happening everywhere lack of staffFood: 5/5
