The hotel itself is stunning and beautifully decorated and maintained. The Art Nouveau decor put me in mind of the works of Agatha Christie and Dorothy L. Sayers: Lord Peter Wimsey and Hercule Poirot would not have been out of place, sipping an aperitif in the Lobby. We took advantage of the breakfast during our stay, it was lavish to say the least, and the service was excellent. Rooms: The rooms were clean, quiet and very well appointed. I loved the decor and the marble bathroom. Safety: I felt the area was safe, and well lit. Walkability: Very near major attractions, shopping, and good restaurants.
I stay for two nights in this hotel and it was great! The hotel is very stylish and beautiful decorated. Breakfast was delicious and much to choose from. Special thanks to Alexander he gives guests a first class welcome and doing his job with pleasure. You can be very proud to have such stuff member, it’s rare! I recommend this place.
Excellent hotel for exploring old town of Prague, location is amazing- walkable to all the main sights but at the same time tucked away on a quiet street. Rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped; breakfast was fantastic- amazing selection, service was fast and efficient. Every single person at the hotel was extremely friendly, starting from reception and ending with restaurant. I will definitely stay here again!
A very pleasant stay at Art Nouveau, greeted by very attentive staff who checked me in early and made sure my short stay was perfect. Breakfast the next day was a large buffet with the highlight being a dedicated omelette bar, room was comfortable and the shower good. I didn't get to explore the restaurant on site but everything looked superb, had a few drinks in the bar beside reception before I headed out. Looking forward to visit again.
I came to this hotel on a vacation with my husband, and everything was super. They upgraded our room without request, it was clean and spacious with spacious bathroom too, new bathroom items were added everyday, reception staff were so helpful in giving us the needed information, it is close to bus station, main attractions and shopping streets. Thank you to all hard work was put into customer satisfaction.
Enjoyed my stay during my first ever visit to Prague for work. Hotel was right around the corner and since I was alone, I cant speak much about the rooms but mine was just what I required. Concierge was quite helpful so were the waitresses and waiters at the diner. Would definitely stay there again as almost all I needed was within walking distance. Nearby activities: Being in Praha 1. Its extremely close to most walking distance venues Old Town, Charles Bridge etc.. Could walk around and still be within earshot of the hotel and with plenty of options around. A night out wouldn't be an issue either. Walkability: Within walking distance of a lot. Convenience stores, bars, restaurants and attractions as well. The old marlet and astronomical clock as well all within reach in about 5 or 10 mins and there is still plenty to see along the way as well. Food & drinks: The restaurant had a limited but enjoyable menu of food. Same with beer variety but it was lovely. They don't hassle or bother you much when chilling. Allowed to work and relax in peace and knew exactly when to avail themselves when your drink is low. Breakfast buffet was divine, plenty to choose from. There is tons of places to get drinks and food at so the lack of variety wasnt a big deal
Older hotel in great location near to tourist areas and shopping. Easy walk to Charles Bridge and Lesser Quarter. Very clean with mostly friendly staff. Definitely not 5 Star accommodations, appointments or services but given price point I would say 4 or higher end 3 Stars. Rooms: Very clean, older rooms with in bath showers. Problem is high step up to get into tub, definitely awkward for older folks or those with young children. There is a handle on the far side of the bath which helps on the way up but no help on the way down! Very hard mattress and old non ergonomic pillows which may not suit everyone. Safety: Step up and down from in tub shower is a real safety issue, especially for older folks and young children. I am surprised that some rooms do not have tubs converted to walk in showers as it seems baths are not as popular as they used to be. Food & drinks: Great breakfast buffet with plenty of hot and cold choices as well as fresh cooked egg station. Staff are amazing and service is excellent. Really well done.
A great location, almost everything is around in a walking distance, the staffs are so polite, room was very good and clean with a very good space. It’s a winter time and the atmosphere was so amazing, my advice is go ahead and book this hotel without thinking twice about it
Didn't use the hotel, only the cafe attached. Cafe/restaurant is really good and food top quality. We had a look at the hotel reception/foyer and I must say it was impressive. If the rest of the hotel is this standard, then I would be very impressed.Location: 4/5
Great hotel, you can feel the 5 stars. Great location, walk distance from everything. We had a huge bathroom with a sauna !! and it was great. Also the breakfast is very good and full of delicious food of all kinds. Only issue we had, is we arrived late around 9pm from the airport with a 2 year old and while organizing our things our neighbors complained about noise we were not yelling or had music or anything. Just talking calmly. And they called us and wanted to change our room!!! We had the suite and they wanted to down grade us because of neighbors. We were angry and did not agree. It was left at that but we were left with bad taste. So the hotel is great but take in consideration that there is no noise dampening between the rooms. You can hear everything from the other rooms. If you are party people, or like to put on music it's not the place for you
