Eating here always puts a smile on my face because of how deliciously fresh and yummy the food is, and how many Gluten Free options there are. If you have the pleasure of meeting the owner Ross, you're in for a treat! Would recommend this place to anyone!
We needed a fish and chips fix and this was a great option, Mussels were great too! Deep friends shrimps were pretty big as well~ Chips were a bit salty. Otherwise all good!
Just now ordered as it was one of the highest-rated places for fish and chips but in vain. What a disaster it was, you can see the pics yourself. Dry fish, thick batter and fries were burnt and in pieces. Who serves such fries? Fish was also not tasty at all, $27 in drain. Avoid this place at all means! Such a waste!
Not bad for fish and chips. We ordered the big family pack, Fish was nice and crispy but the fries were so dry. Prawns were way too greasy.
We haven’t had fish and chips for a long time but decided to check out The Broken Anchor as they offer a gluten free batter. - Wild pacific cod $21.55 for 1/2 lb - cod was extremely disappointing; completely dry and overcooked. Fries were soggy, limp and bland. - Steamed clams & mussels $19.00 - white wine sauce with garlic was decent but something you could replicate at home. Was hoping to find a gem but left Broken Anchor disappointed. Try somewhere else for your fish & chip fix.
This has to be the best GF fish and chips I have ever tried in my life, seriously! Super crispy and tasty! The fries and coleslaw are really good as well. Furthermore, the staff was super friendly and happy to help with any questions on the menu. I’ll be back!
It’s a new ownership. The fish portion is smaller than the previous one when I came here a few years ago. But the fish and chips were tasty and fresh.
Came here for lunch finally as we had always drove past this place. It did not disappoint! It is a little whole in the wall attached to a seafood market and also has it's own patio. Happy Hour is 1p to 4p so we were able to get some specials. We had 6 cod tacos, seafood stew, clams and mussels, Caesar Salad, fries, and half dozen oysters. Everything tasted really good. The stew was a bit spicy and very flavourful - even my son who doesn't usually like spicy had a lot. My wife said the oysters was the best she's had in Kelowna so far. Tacos were really good - tapas size and very tasty. They had forgotten our salad but managed to make it quickly when we mentioned it. Restaurant has a really laid back atmosphere so things are a bit slow. But food is delish. Glad we came.
I use to love this place from the day opened, Haven't been there in a little over a year and just had a dinner with my wife today. Saying that it was the most disgusting fish and ships I ever had. Fish is not the same as before and fries was soft and tasteless. It’s to bad as it was one of our favourite places to eat.
The Table is the ONLY fish and chips worth getting in Kelowna. There’s nothing like walking into a fish market full of the best, freshest BC seafood only to find they’re frying it up in house at a high high level. The staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. Serving up crisp and lightly battered fish with proper chips that are almost like a drug. Look no further folks, find this gem for yourselves.
