The Brick

Incredibly poor service, they sold me a mattress as a set then when I went to schedule delivery told me it wasn’t a set and would need to pay another 230 for a box spring. The delivery was 1.5 hours late past the delivery window the driver didn’t answer the phone and the store gave no help or any rectification for their poor service! Furthermore I live only ten blocks away!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!

The styles of furniture at The Brick is not for everyone, but we managed to find a modern looking sectional that we really liked. We have been looking for sofas for awhile, but it was something we could have waited until next year. Reetika (Sales) was extremely helpful on making it happen! She never gave us too much pressure into buying, and she worked hard with us on getting us a deal that is favorable for both parties. At the end, we felt like this was a decision we wanted to make now rather than next year.

Gulshandeep has very VERY poor customer service!!! Will never come back to this store again. The pickup address she told us -7555 beedie way delta can never be found on google map. We drove 20 Minutes to the middle of nowhere and called the distribution center and they told us another location which is 17 minutes away from the location that google told us. I called for this issue and asked what we could do because the store has closed. Before I said everything about what happened, she just hung up!!!! And then I called back the manager picked up and told me she is with other customers. That's WONDERFUL experience!

DONT DO IT!!! One good salesman Harry and the new hire has awesome energy, but phoning in to confirm our $5,000 order we got no answers, we're told to bring cash in for our order so when we did, they didn't even have $34 change!!! Total runaround, and the front counter girl was so rude to the point our 10 year old daughter asked if we could leave!!! All the horror stories you hear about the Brick are completely founded!

This 1 star is a reflextion of their poor planning and execution of scheduling drop offs. We received an e-mail at 5:55pm with a drop off time and instructions saying if we had issues with the time we could call the store before 9:00pm. Then at 6:05pm we receive an automated call reiterating the drop off time. So we immediately call back and turns out they closed at 6pm. So we decided we'll call first thing when they open at 10am the next day. We call at 10:07am... no answer. We call again at 10:18am.. no answer. We finally get a hold of someone at 11:18am and they tell us that we can't reschedule the drop off because the "trucks are closed". They didn't even try to correct the issue or appease us in the least. Goes to show you customer service is not their priority. We both work the day of their poorly planned, almost impromptu drop off and have to scramble to find someone who can be here. Poor, poor, lazy execution on their part with a generic e-mail with incorrect copy n pasted info, an after hours automated call, an unwillingness to even try to rectify the issue and just an overall lack of interest in meeting basic customer service standards. Very, very disappointed and its the reason why I wont refer my friends n family or personally shop here again.
