Canadian Tire

Is unfortunately that certain Canadian Tires have an inadmissible low level of customer service. The CS in Canada is in general very low but you will expect that a powerful chain like CT will have a stronger training department and a more selective mechanism for its employees. Add to this that they are quietly making more and more difficult the process of returning merchandise back to the store.

It's really too bad that Google doesn't allow for negative star reviews, because this store/company deserves a negative 100. I had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with this Canadian Tire. I recently moved into the neighborhood and needed a bunch of "stuff" for my new place. I decided to try this Canadian Tire. I spent well over $700 on various items. They mentioned during my check out purchase that the Mastercraft tools that I bought were covered with a lifetime warranty. One of the tools I purchased was a Stanley Stud Finder. I got it back to my place, installed a fresh new 9v battery into it, and started to hang things on my walls. After trying 2 different batteries and 7 holes in the drywall that didn't ever find a stud, I knew this was a dud. So I took all of the packaging and headed back to the Canadian Tire to get a refund. Unfortunately, NO CANADIAN TIRE in the world gives refunds anymore unless the item has not been opened or used. Too bad they didn't mention anything about this policy to me while I was making my purchase (yeah, too bad for me). I had my original receipt, but that's not good enough to get a refund. So you have to magically know that the item you purchase from them is fully functional before opening it up. I'd like for the management to explain how to do this. Because in the world that I live it, this is impossible. Many of my friends had warned me to NEVER buy anything from Canadian Tire due to their ridiculous returns policy. I didn't take their advice. I suggest you do, and never purchase anything from their stores ever! With absurd policies like this, I see Canadian Tire going the way of Woolworth, Zellers, and Target very soon.

Amazing customer service by the people in auto parts. Very helpful and kind. reason for the 4 star is because the store is smaller compared to other stores. Keep up the great work!

This is for the auto department. You suck. I came in for my appointment ( was 8 mins early) car key was taken and i was told about an hour and a half. So 1030 to 12. No biggy. I was there from 1022 to fricking 1pm! Missed an appointment because of you lot! And now my drivers seat is wopply. Worst Canadian tire i have ever been to. And there was a lady who dropped her car off at 9 am and got it back mins before i did. If you guys want good rating actually start giving a darn about customers, because today you got an F

Staff was extremely helpful by going to the warehouse to search for an item that showed as 'in stock in store's but wasn't on the shelf. I left happily as a satisfied customer, with my item in hand. Gave it 4 only because the product wasn't where it should have been but I'll definitely be back in future.
