This is the first time I have been to the Brew House in beautiful Fergus, located by the river. They had fabulous live entertainment that was so much fun. Our server was excellent! Even with a full house, our 4 meals did not take very long to arrive at our table. Refills were also given readily. The food was delicious! One thing I would say is that I wish their menu had a little more to offer. But what they did offer tasted great with large portions. We had a great time! I would easily recommend this pub-style restaurant.
Food was really great and prices were reasonable. I feel like we waited quite a while for the food to come out, but they all did arrive at the same time and hot which was appreciated.nnThe fried chicken in honey garlic soy and lemon herb rub flavour was so delicious. The fish and chips were generous in portion. The Nachos could've been improved with maybe some guacamole but overall, I enjoyed the location and friendly service.
This is a great place with a nice view of the river. We went on a busy night. There was an error with our order due to a technical issue. The waitress was really nice and she explained what happened and apologized even though it was nobody's fault. Then the manager came out and apologized again.nThe food was amazing and well worth waiting for. When we got the bill, we saw they had given us a very generous discount. The fact that they made it right will definitely bring us back again!
This place used to be good! Not sure what happened but our dinner was pretty bad. First of all, the place is run down, dusty, bathrooms are gross , the kitchen door and staff door was opened, it did not look clean at all. When we asked about the chef’s Monday special we were told the chef didn’t make one even though it’s on the front of the menu. So we asked what the featured soup was and she said French onion so we ordered that. Then she came back and said the chef didn’t make that either. We should have just left but we had a long day and already had our drinks. So we ordered the spinach dip with tortilla chips and instead of the chips it came with naan bread. Well it was just a total disaster and we will never be back.
Nice in the summer, less so in winter. Nice patio on the river with a fairly standard pub menu. Limited beer selection given the name of the place. Inside is much less inviting. Cold and dreary would be the vibe. Food is good but a little plain.
