The Breakfast Pig

One of the only breakfast places in the Sault and it does not disappoint. Very large portions, good food, and at a good price. A very large and handcrafted menu. They were very busy on Saturday but our food did not take long. The waffles are delicious. The homemade sourdough bread is delicious as well. Only complaint is that they recently changed their sausages and they are not as good as their old ones.

Excellent food with a huge selection of sweet and savory options! A great spot for brunch. Got the sweet potato popper Benedict which was delicious. Tried the Sammy crepe as well which was delicious. My only complaint was that we never had our waters refilled. Vegetarian options: They had some vegetarian options and were accommodating when I asked to get the jalapeño popper Benedict without bacon.

We were traveling across the country from BC and stopped in Sault Ste. Marie for what was supposed to only be one night. We loved it there so much we ended up staying for nearly a week! We discovered The Breakfast Pig on morning one and we literally ate there every morning after. The food is amazing, the prices are very FAIR such a rare find in Canada, the land of overcharge and the staff was so sweet! You will not find a better breakfast place in town, so don’t bother trying. Top quality all around, and they use fresh local ingredients and vendors. Try the Monte Cristo Crepe! It’s was P-H-E-N-O-M-I-N-A-L! 10/10 would recommend. Our travels have since led us all the way to Texas and we still have yet to find a breakfast place that can top it. Yum-o!

The Great Lakes Benny was everything I was hoping for and more! Loved the whitefish cakes, and the holly was just simply divine. The local hot sauce was a great addition, I especially enjoyed the berry one. Service was great as well! Thanks for a great experience.

First impressions tell me this is going to be an excellent experience, the staff are delightful and know the menu. When asking for my Eggs Benny, they were quick to set expectations, and Tomy benefit the Classic Benny's meat is peameal bacon today. My personal preference. They have an excellent menu with something for everyone. Their coffee is excellent and, the have quality grapefruit juice! Thank you! There is a growing collection of customers who mostly seem to be regulars. This is very nice to see. @thebreakfastpig does breakfast right. From the Eggs Benny to the coffee to the server's effort, this wonderful establishment in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario, Canada is likely the best morning ritual one could add to one's life. Comfortable seating and a great ambiance delivers a satisfying day starter to the common man. If you can get here, whether passing through or living here, you need to add yourself to the list of regulars. This made my day! Thank you.

Food was delicious! We got the Mother Clucker and Truffle Mac and Cheese!! Went on a weekend and there was a bit of a wait, maybe 30 mins or so but it was worth it! Coffee was regular diner coffee in case you are looking for a place with latte, this is not the place. Definitely would go back if I am in Sault St.Marie.

Love it here! Service is just as good as the food. Everything is fresh and sourced locally. We ordered the Monte Cristo crepe, pea meal bacon & the PB and Daaamn. All so tasty!

Great breakfast place, lots of variety to choose from. All the food were delicious. Server was very helpful and quick.

Amazing breakfast place! Only negative is the lineup to enter, they get really busy, but that's how you know it's a place worth checking out; Definitely ate like a pig. The portions are amazing and staff is very friendly and attentive.

Such an amazing place to have your breakfast or brunch. We were in Sault Ste. Marie for 3 days last weekend and visited them twice. On both the occasions our server was Autumn - she was very attentive to our table, made some good breakfast suggestions and was very kind too. All the food is cooked fresh and is delicious. My personal favorite was Belgian waffle. Ordered the same on both occasions. They don't accept reservations and serve on first come first serve basis. I wish Mississauga had a similar breakfast/brunch place. Kudos to their team for providing an amazing experience and all the things they do in Sault Ste. Marie community. Keep up the great work. Will surely be visiting when I am there next time. Cheers.
