The Bow is a cool spot to visit for a few minutes, but that’s it. You can’t really go inside which sucks. But it’s an iconic spot that I think everyone should visit at least one. Definitely don’t forget to take the obligatory face sculpture picture!!
Super impressive sculpture as I’m kinda addicted to visiting sculptures by Jaume Plensa and a fantastic building worthy of a mooch!
This modern structure is made from curved steel rods that make it special. The building behind it is called the Now which used to be the tallest and most expensive to be built at the time which makes this a hot attraction.
The views from the 54th floor are incredible! Beautiful offices!
Nice building with lovely work spaces and Atrium floors. Nice views from this spot.
The Bow is a marvel of modern architecture. Very clean and professional building inside and out. Stopped in for a burger at O"Burger on the plus 15 which also a very good place for a grilled burger and fries! Chinatown is close by as well as a tons of amenities and public transportation.
This is the 2nd tallest building in Calgary with 58 storeys at 236 meters high, behind only the Brookfield place building, which has 56 storeys, but stands at 247 meters. It's an architectural master piece and has the wonderland sculpture right in front of it. The wonderland sculpture is made of steel fabrication and shows the depiction of a young female, human face. When you get to the top of the building, you get a chance to see alot of downtown Calgary and environs. It's definitely one of the visual prides of the Calgary skyline. At 236 meters high, it is a mere 14 meters higher than the 3rd tallest building in Calgary, the Telus Sky, which stands at 222 meters high, but with 60 storeys. It sure looks like the higher the building, the less the storeys, going by these 3 buildings....... hopefully there's an explanation for that.
The weather was very cold, but the sky was high and pretty.
The view from the top is awesome! Had to do the Annual stair Climb for Wilderness event to get to the top. I don't work in the building so I figured it was my only way to get up there and see the view. Its an added bonus that I got to raise some money for a good charity in the process.
Nice and clean, and I loved the connectivity that this place have with other sounding buildings. This is fantastic.
