Best pastries ever! The service was very kind and polite with many items and food available, and If you get 6 items it's tax-free! Which personally I think is a very good deal. Every item that I got was very fresh and delicious! 10/10 great place to get amazing pastries!

Surprisingly this place has one of the best APPLE PIES I've tried! I highly reccomend the apple pie here. It's buttery and flaky like a croissant on the outside and the filling is just right on the inside. I recommend reheating it in the oven at home to make it even better. Aside from the apple pie, this place is BOSS for cakes and baked savory buns. Their pizza bun had thick ham and chunks of pineapple and tasted better than the pizza at fast food pizza joints. Their chicken bun was delicious too I'm just so WOW impressed. They have an amazing black forest cake with real juicy cherries in it. Tasted of high quality chocolate and the whipped cream was fresh. They even have steamed buns here. It's like a cake, baked goods, and savory food place that can feed you like a meal! Look at some of the cakes in my pics... It's like a work of art! They even have a ramen cake with a chocolate bowl!

The cake is always fresh and hot deal daily. The staff said the cake were made daily and sold out before close. I came to get a nice 33” fruit cake around 2pm. And there are still few available. I am lucky.

Good quality Chinese bakery. The pricing is decent and the pastries and baked goods are very tasty. You can also order two types of congee here which are our favourite. With the pandemic all of the baked goods are now prepackaged so you cannot mix and match, but makes things more sanitary.

Doesn’t accept debit nor credit, and god forbid if you bring more than 10 coins they will not accept!! Staff is not welcoming at all. Seems like they don’t want business.

The sticky rice peanut pork was excellent and fairly priced, it had a good chunk of tender meat, big salted egg, lots of peanuts even a small slice of sausage. Wish i broke it down some more to show the rest of the fillings hiding in the other half but yea would return for more.

We spent over $200 in pastries here, and they wanted to charge us for $0.30 for a bag or $0.50 for a box. Of course we paid that as we were from out of town buying for relatives and needed it to be presented well and not be squished in a bag. It's CASH only. They will nickel and dime you here. There are probably better bakeries in Richmond.

Affordable cake slices. Buns have good flavour and texture. Cashier lady was giving me a hard time for not having a specific amount of change. Cash only.

Wanted to order 100 pieces of their items and politely inquired if I could get a bit of a discount. Cashier rudely told me that no haggling was permitted!!!! I went to Pine House and they offered me 10% on the spot for a 100 pieces of chicken tarts. Never ever going back to Boss bakery.

Yummy. cakes yes but cash only is really inconvenient The good thing is there are great bakery’s out here like Maxine’s and they offer there customers more than cash only options. I asked why don’t they have interact option to the lady helping me she said she’ll tell the boss . I feel like that’s not gonna happen and wish more businesses would think about offering options to their customers
