The Blue Heron Inn

Except for weekends, I’ve been staying at the heron for the better part of the last year for work. The place is pretty great. My wife really enjoys it as well when she comes to visit. The boardwalk bar on the water is super fun in the summer with a great vibe and live music. T-bones Pier 11 restaurant has great food if you’re in the mood for a sit down dining experience, I like the bar, especially there. The staff has become almost like family to me. I really lucked out in finding this place.can’t forget to mention that they rent boats as well!! This place has made the last year of my life living on the road one of the most pleasurable experiences I’ve had in all my years of traveling for work

We found this after canceling another hotel in Laporte and I am SO HAPPY we did! I don't know how I didn't know about this place my family is from Laporte... The price was amazing, being in the lake and the amazing double jacuzzi tub was AMAZINGThe breakfast we not the typical microwaved items but great great breakfast food!nThe fireplace in the room was great since it was a little chilly at night as well.nWe ate and drank at TBones and the drinks were EXACTLY what we needed after my grandmother's funeral.nA hotel can make or break a trip and since we were there for a sad reason, being here made things a bit more bearablenThe staff was equally as amazing! We are already planning our next trip out in June and booking for our family week in August

We absolutely love staying here and will be back. This place so beautiful we really enjoyed it . The room was perfect and the food was delicious. And the staff was so sweet. See ya next time Blue Heron

My wife & I stayed here for a quick getaway for our anniversary. We were not disappointed. The staff was extremely welcoming & friendly. The room was clean & cozy with an old school decor. We had a lakeview room which offered an amazing view of Pine Lake. We absolutely loved our stay & cannot wait to come back again!

Great view of the lake with a fireplace. Room was well cleaned and the water pressure was fantastic. Only suggestions would be extra linens, and please replace/clean the coffee maker in the room.
