The Blue Heron

Great ambiance with a fantastic view of the flats leading up to the mountains in the distance. The small snack menu had tasty items such as a couple of soups and cheese plates. When it's not raining they also have a larger menu which we ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and a burger from, which were both quite yummy. Note: There's also plenty of outdoor seating, but no heat lamps. On some nights there's live music.

The good, excellent local beer and beautiful views! With the food, not impressed at all. Brussels so so (too much cream loosing the flavors of the veggies, the baby ribs were good (aside from the grits, which btw we're tasteless and they couldn't get me butter for it). The trout chowder was okay (had to add salt) and the pulled pork sandwich was average. I may sound picky but for the prices one expects a much better dining experience. If you're around, stay with the cocktails/beer and enjoy the view. Go eat somewhere else.

Braised lamb shank wonderful and so was watermelon salad. Best view of Grand tetons.
