The food was good, however they were having an off day I think. Three orders out of eight were incorrect and when the server mentioned it to the kitchen they said send it out anyway. Wrong toast, scrambled eggs instead of over easy… The server could have been more friendly. We will tray it again and see if it is better as everyone has a bad day now and then.
My husband and I are always looking for those Mom and Pop type restaurants which Petoskey, MI lacks to have. Well we decided to head to The Bistro for breakfast on Sunday; and it did not disappoint! There was a wait when we arrived, but not too long. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous especially with how busy they were. The food was very good! My husband had the cinnamon toast, WOW!! it was the BEST cinnamon toast we have ever tasted. We will definitely be back to this little hidden gem! WAY TO GO TO THE OWNER & STAFF!!
Decent cheap breakfast. Got a breakfast burrito and a #8 breakfast combo.
Went for breakfast, ordered the Papa Maxwell omelet subbed ham for bacon, got sausage instead. Omelet was ok, overcooked! Service was great! Before they start doing fancier plates, they should learn the basics & pay attention to the order.Food: 2/5
We stopped at this place while we were on vacation for breakfast, an it was great the food ,the service, an very friendly. If your way up north in or near Polanski Michigan stop on in an have a great experience

Great local place for breakfast. The pancakes are nice and crispy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It can get busy but they work hard to keep things moving. All breakfast basics are covered.

Wasn't sure about a bistro for breakfast and we are from out of town and we decided to check it out and the food,customer service, waitresses are just 100% amazing I would recommend this restaurant to anyone! 5 gold stars Food: 5/5
