So we go hear lunch time park in handicap spot at door we notice it coverd in broke beer bottle so we tell security at 630pm we return try to park handicap spot it still coverd in broken glass so we attempt to call the store phone rings for a long while and no one answers so I guess it ok to keep the handicap spot coverd in glass and no one cares you know because if handicap person gets a flat we have no problem. Changing a tire even tho we can't walk good great job the glass goes all way to third spot will the beer store pay for our tires lol highly doubtful
April 8 - No Guinness because “we must have sold out for St. paddy’s and haven’t order more yet”… a month ago and they haven’t replaced their stock. A government sanctioned private monopoly where service is non-existent and rude if you’re lucky enough to get any. The place is a Tip, it is unquestionably the business that has the biggest adverse impact on our neighborhood: offers nothing, costs everything- socially and financially. Get lost!
Wide range of beers to buy from which were neatly displayed. Store is well maintained and the staffs are super helpful
Great selection! But if you look homeless/young, do expect security to mysteriously appear in every aisle you browse. It made my visit quite uncomfortable, apologies for looking like a "thief", whatever that may look like.
Nice cute store for your convenience. They have good collection of beers. Stuffs working there are always friendly and supportive. Tell them the taste you like, they can find a good choice for you. Price is good. Buy in bulk if you want to save money.
Amazing humans work here. I accidentally left my mug here and they not only kept it for me the next day, but rinsed it out as well. Thank you so much! Also many different options for Ontario craft, which is nice.
It's a beer store. You can return empty wine bottles and beer cans for 10 cents. They have a huge selection and it's kept extremely cold which is nice on hot summer days. The staff are nice and all of them have worked there for a long time. The area has a lot of low income people and it's one of the only downtown beer stores, so you might run into some scruffy looking people.
This beer store is literally responsible for the decline of the neighborhood. Watch as people buy beer and then drink it in the park next door. Fighting, yelling, noise etc..
Sometimes only 1 cash is open, Slow service when you have alot of change only buyers. Great selection, knowledgeable staff.
Been living in Ottawa for a month now and went into the beer store on Somerset for a gluten free option for beer. My girlfriend and I were in the store for maybe a minute when the clerk came rushing out onto the floor. I asked for a gluten free option like cider or something. He says "we don't sell that here it's just beer. Then rushedly escorts my girlfriend and I out of the store. I have managed liquor stores in Alberta and this cashiers customer service was atrocious. He tried to save himself by pointing out the
