Had a great time celebrating Christmas In The Summer for a Foodbank fundraiser at Beacon Restaurant! Had yummy wings and the music was incredible!!!
Brought the wife and kids there for dinner. This place isn’t much of a looker from the outside. The inside is retro but super comfortable. Food was actually quite good, portions are good, price was good, service was better than most places around the beach. Definitely going to go back.

Ordered takeout wings, very dry some looked like they had been burned, could not eat them. Would not recommend ordering takeout. Prices have gone up but quality has gone down.

It was like entering the twilight zone! Thought for a minute I was on a hidden camera show. Taylor, is hands down one of the weirdest people I have ever encountered working at a restaurant. He openly hated being there. We were greeted with "warning, the service is going to be terrible today" When we asked if they were getting ready to close 2-3pm or so he replied "No but I wish!" Beautiful attitude! We ordered drinks, twice. Never recieved one. Apparently "a lot happened" in the 3 minutes he was away from the table. Second time around....still not a drink to he seen. The guy was rude, abrupt while the entire time making faces like a baby with a big load in his diaper. We walked out without ever seeing a menu. Taylor, go change your pad my man. It's not our fault your girlfriend broke up with you....not something we ever needed to know about. However, I don't blame her.
On Saturday July 16th we left before we were served. Taylor was very rude and unprofessional. We were a group of 9 people who just finished helping with a fundraiser at Canadian tire across the street and wanted a cold beer and a meal after a hot and busy day. We were pleasant and courteous, but Taylor complained about being understaffed and irritated about us not calling ahead. The restaurant only had 2 other people in it. We got up and left. Went across the street to St Louis and spent our money there. Left a very generous tip.
They advertise Karaoke every Friday & Saturday night. Showed up and it was a live Comedy show. Had to pay up. Did. Comedians weren’t funny, although the MC was. Nothing on their website or Facebook indicated there was an event that night. Food was great.
