I have been a regular at The Barber Shop for over 2 years now and would highly recommend them to anyone! Their services are super affordable and the booking system is easy and convenient to use. All the barbers are very welcoming, easy to strike up a conversation with and give you exactly the cut you're looking for. This is the best barber shop I've ever been to. Tight attention to detail, super punctual appointments, and top notch straight edge + hot towel service. Great atmosphere, super experienced barbers, pricing is way too fair IMO. An outstanding local business all around.

I've been going here for about 10 years. Tyler has been my barber for 5, highly recommend! Moved out of Vancouver and I still drive in. Best barbers in the lower mainland - Straight razor shaves, hot towels, the works, all for a reasonable price. Wouldn't get my hair cut anywhere else.

Made an appointment for 130 PM Arrived 125PM. Someone else was receiving a haircut and it did not finish until 145PM. I had an appointment, but was forced to wait 15 minutes because of a walk in. This should not have happened. My appointment time should have been respected. When asked about why a walk in was taken during my appointment time, I was accused of being late, despite the fact that I was 5 minutes early. Furthermore, the hair stylist did not seem to understand the instructions for the haircut I had requested and my confidence in their abilities was eroded. I am reluctant to return based on this negative experience.

Not sure how the place is by appointment but don't try to go as a walk-in, After telling me that they could cut my hair, I asked for a fading of my hair starting at 0.5 but I didn't get a fading or a 0.5 cut. When I told the hairdresser that what she did is not what I asked for, she told me that she didn't have time to fix it, also she didn't cut the hair on the top of my head at the same level. The photos show what they understood as fading. Besides, I told the hairdresser to not touch my beard and she cut the sideburns at a different length each. Overall, a really bad experience.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the barber's here really know what they're doing. They focus on your needs, provide a great friendly service and the hot towel at the end is really refreshing.

I've had a loyal barber for a few years in vancouver. Normally I wouldn't try a new place, but as mine was closed I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed! The barbers here were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. They gave me a really nice cut and I was in and out in a good time. I'll for sure be coming back, as these barbers are great!!!

Make sure you are very clear on how you want your hair cut! I went to The Barber Shop for the first and last time with hair that was at least 3 inches long. I showed the barber a picture of my last haircut, which was at least 1.5 inches long on the sides and back, and asked for a similar cut but slightly shorter. The barber proceeded to use a number 3 clipper without asking for anymore information or confirming that I was ok with that. This was essentially a buzz cut, which is NOT what I wanted. A I voiced my dissatisfaction and was told that it was summertime and I should have a summer haircut. I will not be going back The Barber Shop. TLDR: barber disregarded my requests and began cutting my hair without confirming what I wanted.

Got a haircut as a walk-in, fantastic service and great price. Louie was very patient and helped me figure out the style of hair I want, including adjustments to make sure I was satisfied.
