Very cute, little coffee shop. Ordered the London Fog and it was great, super tasty! Would come back for desserts for sure! Loved the St. Patty’s Theme & Decor!
My family enjoys visiting this sweet secret after appointments. A fairly small venue with a delicious menu! Staff are warm and friendly. Thank you #supportlocal Parking: Hourly fee for parking
Be careful to ensure they don't mischarge you! Their menu doesn't have the correct prices for everything, and it isn't clear how much things cost. I went to buy two cookies $2 each and a pop $2 and they tried to charge me $9.75 $4 for the pop, $4 for one of the cookies, and $1.75 for the other one. Their macaroons are ok $1.75 but their M&M cookies $4 are WAY overpriced. Their menu says pop is $2, but they tried to charge $4 for a "Grizzly Paw" brand pop - their menu only mentions a price for pop, no "premium" pop price. I could understand if their premium goods were like $0.50 more, but paying DOUBLE is just stupid. Would NOT recommend this rip-off joint. It's hard to justify buying from small businesses when they make pricing unclear and try to sneak in higher prices for unsuspecting customers. Dishonest, unethical, and illegal. Would NOT buy here again. TO THE BUSINESS: If you can't make your prices transparent and fair to your customers, you don't deserve to be in business! Also, you are legally REQUIRED to offer your goods at the lowest visible price. Perrier was the only soft drink listed at $4. Pop was listed at $2. If you're offering craft pops, you MUST either offer them at the $2 price listed for pop, or list a price specific to the brand/style. You can't use the listed price for Perrier to justify charging the same amount for your craft soda.
Coffee is good. Prices are high I tried many things from the menu, Carrot cake is not good not recommneded, waste of money Squares are not good I like Egg salad sandwhich and white chocolate scone.
I stopped in at the Allin Clinic for an X-ray & paid extravagantly for parking so decided to have a coffee in the Baker’s Son. I bought 4 scones to take home for family to try. “The best scones ever!” was the family’s comment.
First time here. The servers were welcoming and very friendly! Ordered the egg salad sandwich and rice pudding!! YUM! was very delicious. Rice pudding tastes exactly like the one my danish aunt makes. They even give you raspberries with it. Ordered a tea as well. Overall experience was lovely!! Good work! Very impressed!
The food in this place is *amazing.* This place has the best pumpkin pie in the city, and I dont say that lightly. The sandwiches are high quality and really tasty. I love their hot chocolate, it is really good, and has a good amount of milk in it. Ive tried hundreds of hot chocolates, and their hot chocolate is solidly in my top 3. The staff are really kind and genuine too. Overall, I'd reccomend this place to anyone that likes good food.
Stopped in with mom after her appointment. Very welcoming. Mom’s in a wheelchair and room was made to accommodate the space she needed. Had the jalapeño and ham scone which was delicious and a great cup of coffee. So nice to see how many people are regulars. Glad my doctor has now just moved upstairs as I’ll be back for sure.
if you wanna sit and take a good quick sip of tea / coffee, then here's an okay place. however if you wanna have a quick bite, then expect a cold counter sandwich not as advertised on the pictures around the hallways of the clinic. TLDR / would sip a drink, but eating is a questionable choice.
Cute little cafe in the heart of Oliver. Sad that the steamer was broken as I really wanted to try the hot chocolate or London fog, however not a deal breaker as you can’t prevent that from happening. The jalapeño cheddar and ham scone was next level, so soft and moist. It was so delicious I will definitely be coming back for it again. Awesome friendly customer service!
