Fantastic hotel!!! Check in was quick and easy! Jim, at the front desk, was very helpful and kind. He gave us tips on where to eat in the local area and made sure we didn’t need anything else for our room. The room itself was very clean and had all the basic necessities. The Keurig and water kettle were very nice to make coffee and tea. The comfy bed and remodeled bathroom, with a rainfall shower, were excellent to help us relax after driving all day. We would definitely stay here again!
The Baker Hotel in Downtown Cranbrook is a beautiful, cool, modernized, historic 1920's 3 Story hotel. We stayed on a Thursday night in the Banker's suite, which was decorated with a few beautiful antique furniture and fixtures throughout. The modern king sized bed and luxury sheets were very comfortable and had a great sleep. The room was very clean. Great walk-in shower in the bathroom. Beautiful high ceilings in room and old brick feature walls. Heater/air conditioner unit in room was whisper quiet! Jim, front desk staff was so welcoming, friendly and professional- much appreciated. There are a few lunch and supper restaurants and pubs within walking distance. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again!
I was staying at the Baker for a work trip in mid-May and had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating! The room I was in had a small kitchenette that was extremely useful for food prep, and a medium-size fridge with a full freezer, which I appreciated immensely. Whenever an issue arose, the staff did everything in their power to resolve it as quick as possible. I would highly recommend staying here!
This historical hotel has been fully renovated, yet has kept its charm. Jim at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. Do note that there is no elevator and there are no rooms on the main floor, so if you have any mobility issues, then this might not be the right spot for you. Otherwise, it is a great central location in Cranbrook.
What an incredible place we almost always stay at little not chain hotels because they always have the best service and this place was no exception, little antique charm with nicely renovated rooms, nice and quite but close to everything you might need during your stay. I’m not sure if it was the owner or just a staff member but incredibly friendly! If I could give a 100000 star I would
