This establishment has been on my radar for over a year now and I finally got the chance to experience it with my family and friends today. The food, ambiance and staff are amazing. Everything from keeping your coffee topped to the quality of food and service feels like you are visiting at your favorite relatives house. Kid-friendliness: There are tons of games for children to play and they offer for you to go help yourself and have fun. Parking: There are a few outside the restaurant but more all over the streets.
Fantastic food and a fun atmosphere. We had the Bag Lady poutine, the turkey sandwich with salad, and Italian sandwich with Homefries. Everything was seasoned and/or sauced perfectly.... Food was fresh and clearly homemade there. Also, we bought some cool postcards and a journal that were made by a local artist. Staff was friendly and service was great. Apparently there is an Airbnb suite in the attic as well. We will potentially stay there next time we come to town.
Had a couple of deliveries for work lunch. I tried a breakfast meal both times and they were both tasty. BIG portions - either you take leftovers home or you commit and get too full it's hard to breathe Everyone loved what they had. Delicious food, huge portions reflected in the price of course, and beautiful presentation - what more should I say?
Very cute spot. What they have on the menu is delicious and portion is good. Only gave a 4 star and not 5 because I’d like to see more options Turkey bacon, eggs Benny
Breakfast was served at The Bag Lady Variety, with retro vintage decor creating a whimsical atmosphere. Breakfast Panini- I got a bite and it was yummy with eggs, bacon, spinach, pesto and cheddar cheese all in a ciabatta bun! Tasty and I like the way they cook their eggs fluffy. Cinnamon Swirl French Toast - tasted like pancakes, not really french toast like I thought it would be.. and not much cinnamon flavour but the fruit was fresh and I loved how it was served. I'd usually go for the savoury dishes, and I should've stuck with that imo. They'll serve your tea in pretty tea cups but the germaphobe in me noticed the tea pot was super stained on the inside and not cleaned very well also we waited over 30mins for these dishes so that's something to consider . Other than that the service was good.
Everything is nice cozy, and classic Breakfast is amazing, but only I didn't like there NO free wifi, and food a bit pricer than other places.
Vintage location ,i love It ! The staff Is very friendly But i didn't like the wait ,because we orded at 1.00 pm and i got my order at 1.45 ...but for the rest it's okay . I don't know if i Will return
One of my favourite eateries in the city. Terrific soups, sandwiches and breakfasts. Highly recommend the Veggie Burger, when available. It's absolutely delicious and doesn't try to be fake meat. It's far superior. Desserts are absolutely deadly and delicious. And local ice cream! My only complaint is that there's little without sugar to drink when it's hot out but the iced lemon water is oh so welcome! Don't hesitate to order food to go. Their packing is superior.
Really unique place with delicious food. Only putting a 4 instead of 5 because some Gluten friendly options would have really done it for me. Otherwise everything was tasty, friendly staff and very popular spot. Arrive early and be patient as you may have to wait for a table for to be available.
Ordered Food for breakfast and the food was so delicious and has a good range of menu for breakfast. Portion sizes are great too. Ordered through Skip the Dishes and arrived on time. Highly recommended this restaurant with five stars. Will definitely try again later.
