The Aviary

I had a lunch date with my husband here. This was our first time here, we were seated outside in the back which is perfectly hidden from the street traffic and excessive wind. Food was fabulous. We got deviled eggs and crab cakes as appetizers, he got the steak sandwich and I got the salmon dish with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The servers were very nice.

A lovely spot where the food is good and the service is excellent. Weather permitting, there is a lovely patio out back with comfortable chairs, outdoor heating, little twinkling lights etc. Very atmospheric setting when you're looking for that sort of thing. My one dislike with the Aviary is that the indoor tables are very close together, and it can get very noisy inside. If that type of setup bothers you, you won't want to go during peak hours. However, if you tend to go for a weekday lunch, or an early weekend dinner, the seating and noise level will not be a problem.

Food was great and the staff was very considerate. First place I've been to that automatically offered to make me a mocktail if I wanted when everyone else in the party was having cocktails. Felt nice!

A beautiful restauraunt that I frequent a lot because of their beer selection. The food, while very tasty isn't the star of the show in my opinion. The Aviary is perfect for grabbing beers with a buddy and splitting an appetizer, bonus points for beautiful outdoor seating.b
