I wish I could put less than 1 star.... Today, (11-13-17) I had ordered a total of 3 Awful Awfuls. All was good an normal until it came time to pay. Naturally, I have them my card and they said cash only because the credit/debit card machine wasn't working. I did not have any cash on me so I had to sit there, with the drinks in the counter melting and becoming warm, until they had "fixed" the problem. After about 30 minutes we had gotten fed up and several other people had been complaining of this issue as well. The manager finally got pissed off and told us just to take our drink and go. She said, and I quote, "just take 'em and go because we can't fix the machine right now and you don't want to leave to get cash, so just go." She said this while yelling in certain parts and waving her hand inches from my face. Worst experience I have ever had here and I will NEVER return. I have had several bad experiences here in the past but this one was the end of it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE

My daughter wanted to go there for her birthday dinner, she's 12, I asked them if the could put a candle on her classic sundae and although they didn't have any candles, the waitress did present quite the sundae dessert, she loved it. I, of course, as I always do had the big beef burger, made the Newport Creamery way, on buttery toast with cheese on it. The fries are the best! It's a great family place for dinner or just dessert. I've been going there for 40 yrs and I will continue to go. WE LOVE IT!! 🍧🍨🍦
