Tried for the first time tonight. Pad Thai and coconut soup. It was wicked. Nice little spot. Do not let the 1 star reviews turn you away. The food is awesomeness . Had a meal, and ordered take-out I liked it so much. Staff was also great! All smiles. Will be coming back again real soon. Only complaint was the soup could have been bigger. Only because it was so good I could have eaten a bucket full.
Food is good, would've been better if we were able to eat at the place. Reserve if dine-in. Restaurant has 12 seats available, 8 out of 12 were occupied by 2 customers and other 4 were reserved. Quantity is great, it's just take out doesnt taste the same when rice is stuffed for long time
Amazing! We stopped here simply because my partner wanted Thai and it was a Thai restaurant near the record shop we were visiting. He had the pad Thai, and I had the red curry… both were delicious. We’d also recommend the salad rolls; the sesame sauce was excellent, and however filling, the Thai iced tea was also a treat. The service was lovely and one of the women at the restaurant was actually from Bangkok, which I appreciated as authenticity ; I would recommend this place and definitely return again the next time I’m in bedford, but you don’t have to take my word for it. While dining in the wee 3-table place, the phone and cashier were non-stop with takeout orders the entire time!
The food is sooooo good, but tiny, tiny portions for the money. I ordered via justeats. Sorta wondering if the online ordering companies are cutting into their profits, so they are cutting down sizes???....the green curry cost $18.69 and the rice cost $4.98. I also got deep fried tofu which are sooo good....cost $11.68...My suggestion would be to go eat there in person!
Delicious food, good portions, and excellent value. The Thai iced tea was just like we remembered having in Thailand. There are lots of options available on the menu for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The food came out piping hot and the overall service was great!
This gem was an incredible find. Can't wait to go back. The waiting was prompt and respectful. The food was delicious. The price was reasonable. If you're not sure where to have supper tonight. Then let me tell you. Thai Ivory. My only negative critique is that the spicy dishes weren't quite as spicy as I wanted. But I'm sure if I asked next time for it to be hotter, they would be happy to accommodate. Vegetarian options: Thier menu is designed for you to pick the curry or noodle or whatever dish, then pick what protein you want in it. Since one of the options is tofu, almost every dish on the menu can be made vegetarian. Vegan doesn't have as many options, but our group was vegan and we still had plenty of options to choose from. Kid-friendliness: They have the normal wooden high chairs that you see around. There isn't anything special that makes it extra child friendly, but we felt comfortable there and we had a group of four kids ranging in age from 3 to 11. Parking: There is a small parking lot, but it is very small. You may need to park in front one of the near by shops or in a parking lot further down the road. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp. The dining room is small, so having a wheelchair in there would feel cramped. But it is an option.
Thai Ivory Cuisine has an abundance of delicious dishes that cater to vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters alike. The menu is full of the greatest hits you'll find at any Thai restaurant in Canada. Everything tasted great, exactly what I'm looking for when I get Thai food delivered. I do wish the noodle dishes were served with peanuts, lime, and herbs. It would also be nice if the packaging were more environmentally friendly. Nonetheless, I can't wait to try more dishes at Thai Ivory Cuisine.
Ordered red curry with tofu and vegetables add cashew noodle stir fry. It was for a pick up order. The nice lady at the front said 15 to 20 minutes; however the food was ready in 12 minutes. Piping hot deliciousness. The stir fry was wonderful. The only thing I was surprised was that the red curry was very mild. Don't get me wrong it was excellent but I was expecting a higher spice/chilli level. All in all good value for money, filling and good place to eat. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options
Just ordered green and panang curry on Uber eats. We got the additional protein for $3.75 for each to get the larger portioned curry. We also got extra rice for the extra curry. Thai ivory cuisine sent only small single orders of curry essentially stealing $7.50 from us. We also have and extra $4.50 of rice we can't use. I called them and they said they haven't updated their Uber eats prices, and essentially 'tough luck...' Be careful, they're currently not honouring their menu.
Got takeout green curry with tofu and rice. I asked for it to be spicy and boy was it ever spicy! No complaints there. Food was delicious, although the tofu could have been better and there could have been more rice considering the price.
