Reviews
There was a lot of foods to choose from in the buffet and everything tasted really great. Not sure why the reviews are so bad, but I would definitely come back for breakfast. Great service and great views!
Buffet at reasonable price. Very attentive service Food was varied and hot to warm. Good bacon If staying in the hotel and waking late it is open till 11am.
Can I give zero!? I went to the Marriott buffet breakfast. It was unacceptable! The food inedible! It made me Sick and Hospitalized! I'm a local, I grew up in the hotel industry here. My father before retirement, was a Director on the board of the, Tourism Bureau of Niagara. The Terrapin Cafe, made me Sick!!! I was taken to the Hospital by ambulance! I was Vomiting for three days and nights, before Hospitalized. I can Not, Vouch for the integrity of this restaurant. I would Not recommend it.
Great place excellent service and food our waitress Ashely was a sweetheart
$30 USD for dirty dishes and silverware, ONE type of cheap breakfast meat, NO omlett cooking station and sausages of a type that my dogs would not eat them hard, tasteless, kind of makes you wanna puke. Not even orange juice or hot chocolate. Bottom line, one of the worst breakfast experiences I had in traveling the world for 40+ years. On top of that, the room temperature was well in the 80s and zero air condition. This Marriott and their "restaurant" should be shut down.
Top 10 worst breakfast I ever ate. You’d think if they were charging $22 for two eggs and sausage that they might take a little pride in what they were doing. I couldn’t make a worse breakfast sausage if I was attempting to make the worlds worst breakfast sausage. Had to ask for butter for the toast. Also most expensive dish on the menu is pancakes. 4 pancakes $23! Service was OK but highly suggestive about the tip. Don’t waste your money even if it’s the additional breakfast included with the room.
Delicious food and service
Went with my husband for anniversary dinner. Very nice atmosphere and service. We ordered fried calamari, fettuccine with seafood and risotto. All was delicious. Next day came for breakfast buffet. Enjoyed it very much. A very good selection of fruits. They even had raspberries. Prices are good for Niagara dining.
Great mix of local and international cuisine. Portion sizes were good and it was easy to find something for everyone. Some menu items didn't detail ingredients food allergies but the server was able to fill in the blanks. Would go again with family.
Both the smoked chicken chowder and fire roasted tomato bisque soups were served hot and tasted awesome. The bread was good and the citrus butter was a nice touch. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. There was a long wait between appetizers and main course. I ordered the 9 oz filet and received a 6 oz filet that was lukewarm at best. This was very disappointing. In addition, the garlic mash potatoes were served stone cold in a ball and had the look of ice cream. Their breakfast buffet was amazing and an excellent value. I especially liked the made to order omelets. There was a huge amount of people awaiting to be seated both days when I went to breakfast even though their were plenty of empty tables. I wasn't sure what the hold up was but it was annoying.
