Went for the maple syrup festival. The pancakes and breakfast food was absolutely amazing, cooked perfectly not stale and portion sizes were excellent for the price. They had halal options including the best breakfast sausages I've ever had. The festival activities were very reasonable close to each other so it wasn't aslog to walk to the different areas, a definite plus if you have kids. Staff were very friendly and diverse in experience and culture; I found it valuable to hear from someone with first Nations ancestry relate the methods used by first Nations in the past.

Good place to visit with family. Well maintained facility and easy access to clean washrooms if you are going with elderly or kids.. very courteous staff. Jeff - a staff member - was very helpful and went out of his way to help us, a group of 17 people, and arranged picnic tables and a spot. Thank you Jeff, you deserve a raise..

My husband and I had an awesome time wandering through the many activities and stations. The life sized games were especially fun to tackle and the entertainment provided by Melissa and teammate were both exciting and interesting. We also purchased a wood branding ticket which was the perfect souvenir for us!

My family and I love this place. We have visited in all seasons and there is always activities happening or if you just want to do a simple hike. You can drive in through the main gate off Winston Churchill, or if you bike\walk along the Caledon Trailway, you can arrive at the the Center, however, you will have to go in to pay for access still (I've not personally done this, always visited via the main entrance, but have hiked up to the boundary). We have done the after dark snowshoeing and the skating trail, as well as visited to hear lectures at different times. They also offer activities like learn to snowshoe or cross country ski. Their website is kept up to date. Would recommend visiting if you want a few hours of activity on a weekend.

Great attention to detail. Lots for the kids to do here at the maple syrup festival! Great day out. They made sure strollers could get around.
