In search of authentic chocolate me and my friend ended up in Ten Degrees Chocolate. Great introduction and complimentary testing to few of chocolates. I ordered Latte and Signature S’more Cake. I always seek appropriate to less sweet in the desert and this was up-to the mark, it melted in my mouth with flavours of chocolate mouse and vanilla blend in well. Latte I didn’t find extraordinary, it was okay. My friend ordered Chocolate Brownie cookie and Hot chocolate. Her hot chocolate, according to her was a good blend and she finds well, although she is not a fan of hot chocolate. Her cookie was bit warm but nice. I would like to attend their chocolate lava event.
Excellent S'mores cake. Very decadent. The chocolate layer was very smooth. Very good cream of cauliflower soup, the bread that came with the soup is a very pleasant surprise. A bit on the pricey side but I feel like it was worth it. Friendly staff.
Very cute Chocolatier cafe! The chocolate cheesecake was amazingly light and the locally made chocolates were to die for. Very clean and adorable interior. Lattes were underwhelming and lacked tea flavor, but would absolutely go back for more food and desserts!
This evening I went here for some hot chocolate, and I ended up also getting their peanut butter bomb and a gluten free brownie. They had two types of hot chocolate; a HC bomb and their own made with real chocolate. I ordered their hot chocolate with no whipped cream or foam. They did a good job at making sure there was no foam. If you're looking for sweet creamy "fun" hot chocolate, this isn't the place. I found the hot chocolate bitter, and not creamy despite being made with milk, and it had a grainy texture. Their gluten free brownie was the best part of my order! It had great consistency if you want a fudgey rich brownie. It was a surprisingly delicious treat. I do not like foamy whipped things, so my friend ended up eating the peanut butter bomb. They told me that it had a good consistency, and the centre was like strawberry jelly. All in all this was an okay experience, and the staff were friendly to interact with.
This place was on my list since the hot chocolate festival. Got a chance to visit this place finally and had an amazing experience. The server was so nice and polite. I ordered signature s’more cake, turtle cookie, latte and hot chocolate from the menu. The s’more cake was melting in the mouth. Turtle cookie had the perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. Latte was strong and hot chocolate was good too. Did some chocolate tasting as well. Over all this place is highly recommended for chocolate lovers to go for. They have different events too to attend. Will definitely be going again to try more from the menu and looking forward to attend a class soon.
If you think 10 Degrees is a chocolate coniseurs paradise you are right and it is so more! They craft their chocolate from the kitchen on site from pure ingredients which have been ethically sourced. Like most food, whole natural ingredients produce the best flavour and health benefits. The chocolate is superb, if you appreciate quality, this is your place. There is so much more they offer, amazing smoothies, fantastic deserts, fine dining in a sophisticated atmosphere and a quaint patio for those sunny days. I see this as one of Calgary's best kept secrets.
Had the privilege of attending a chocolate making class at this location. Suffice to say the class was fantastic, the ambience was beautiful and picturesque and the hosts were most welcoming.
Came here for YYC hot chocolate fest. We suprised to find out that this drink was vegan. It was so good you'd never know! Such a cute little place with an amazing atmosphere, awesome food and drinks. They even have chocolate making classes, which I will definitely be back for! Great work guys!
Was there last week for chocolate pairing event and loved it! Everyone was so attentive and sweet. We loved hearing all the stories, trying out new food and drinks. We even grabbed some chocolate on the way out, they were delicious!! If you're looking for a date idea, it was a great time!
A wonderful chocolate shop and cafe. I recently tried their s’mores cake , truffle cookie and vietnaam chocolate 70%dark . They were all good. There was so many layers in the s’mores cake and a right balance of sweetness from the toasted marshmallow to the crumble and brownie at the bottom. I personally loved the truffle cookie as it was not too sweet. I would love to check out their coffees and other stuff very soon.
