Story

Beth El Synagogue Teen Youth (BESTY) offers an opportunity for Beth El teens to build friendships, develop lifelong Reform Jewish identities, and leadership skills through community building, worship, social action, and experiential youth-led Jewish programming. BESTY is a member of the New York Area Region of NFTY, the North American Federation of Temple Youth, the Reform movement's youth initiative. Members from BESTY attend regional and national NFTY conclaves where they interact with Jewish teens from around the area, and across the nation. BESTY functions with a balance between youth-led and advisor-initiated activities.
