Tegaru Restaurant

I love tegaru, my favorite Chinese food restaurant for 10 years. Highly recommend it!! Think it's been the same person running it for that long if I'm not mistaken. Love the choices and all the variety, you can pick and choose what you'd like. The food is delicious, flavorful and fulfilling. Everything is usually fresh and hot. They also have items that don't contain meat for vegetarians. There very generous with servings, I can almost never seem to finish it all so I get to take the rest to go. The combo prices are affordable along with everything else.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. If you want to be treated less than a human this is the place to go! Owner shouts at you for asking a simple question. Can't believe this place is still open with how abhorrent the owner treats customers. Will never go back and will tell everyone I know to never go there.

SO MAD!!! I have a rant …. Lol - today I went to Tegaru restaurant to pick up food , I paid for it and noticed a homeless guy standing out between the 2 doors on my way out, asked him if he was hungry - he said yes starving , took him into tegaru let him pick out his food paid for it and the owner told him he couldn’t eat inside- fine he took it and left. Now, as I’m paying and getting my receipt … the owner starts yelling at me and telling me I’m not to ever come back because this homeless man is there every day asking customers for money - and NOW I’m not welcome there either!!??? I’m so mad !!! What a heartless person!!! I’m so mad!!! I will never go back!

On food part it was good but not enough portion. On Customer service part the Cashier was not good at all she charged me one extra dollar and no greetings at all. Then the worst thing I saw staff had put thier shoes on the food box which is not acceptable at all, that tells me there might be a insects problem on the permises that could be the reason that staff had put thier shoes over food box but that is not right in a food establishment. While I was looking at that and about to take picture staff approached me and asked "what are looking at ? What do you need ?" And then shut the employee's only room door. This whole scenario changed my perception about this store and from now on I won't recommend going to this location. Sorry Go somewhere else if you are Health conscious.

The customer service sucks, and the food is good but every time I eat there, i happen to get sick. He must not change his oil pans/grease.

food sucked. chicken tasted like the chicken i could make in an airfryer after buying it from costco. some of the chicken was inedible. service sucked as well, got a whole lecture for not wanting a bigger size and told $2 wasn’t a big difference in canada as it is in india as he noticed i was from india. where tf did that come from?? when we said we would take the bigger size before he made it, he said “too late” and got mad, like what??? after looking at some of the other reviews from people i recognize that are also indian which also talk about his service, i think the owner might be kinda racist

I asked for extra sweet ,and sour sauce .That was not put on my take out order, and no napkins provided or soya sauce . Extremely poor service, and I can barely eat this dinner without soya sauce . I would not go here again for food . I don't reccomend this place.

the old man server is very rude!he don't know how to treat the customer!the fried shrimp is sucki will not recommend this tegaru too pricey and small portion of food!!!!

The food was wrong and the store was so dirty and the guy at the counter was so rude to the customer and he yells at the customer. To make a long story short, no good food and no good service.

The food is always fresh and his portion sizes are great! He sure doesn't skimp when it comes to loading up your plate! He always gives us so much meat for 8 years ive only order the number 3 and I've gone in with my son and daughter and grabbed two number 3s and since my daughter is small he always throws her a small plate for free! Great food great service great price highly recommend
