I like to support local restaurants and try different places. I found Cheers on Skip and looked at the reviews, so it seemed to be a good place to order from. Maybe for other items, but not their Reuben Sandwich. For $11, it wasn't worth it. A tiny sliver of meat, next to no sauerkraut, no thousand island but to their defense, thousand island wasn't listed as one of the toppings, and what tasted like processed cheese slice. I guess I could live with the choice of cheese. Furthermore, the toasted bread was almost squished flat and the container it was in was too small to hold a sandwich. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 0, the greek salad I ordered was OK, but it didn't have any cucumbers, and was made with white onion not red. It did have a good number of tomatoes and olives. If it weren't for the olives and feta, this would have been a tomato onion salad. I guess to their defense again, they didn't have the salad items listed on the menu either, so maybe their version of a Greek salad is sans cucumbers and red onion. I always tip restaurants like this, but this time, the tip was not earned.
I had high hopes for Cheers, sadly no, at least for breakfast. We ordered the breakfast specials which were a little pricy, over $20 for 2, includes coffee but refills are extra. My sausages were so over cooked I couldn't cut them using my knife, terrible, and the hashbrowns were more like left over mashed potatoes instead of shredded as I was lead to believe. The eggs were a little over done but ok, my wife's bacon was done perfect. The waitress, an older woman watched us like a hawk, kind of unnerving actually, she just stared and stared. Lol I would have thought that breakfast would have been better considering they are only open for breakfast and lunch, they close before supper. Sadly cannot recommend for breakfast.
Very pleased, best bang for your buck. They're very polite, fast and clean. I highly recommend. They're usually closed during the summer and close early during the day but if you get the chance I'd take it!!Food: 5/5
Great hole in the wall diner, very quick and friendly service. The salads both Greek and Ceasar were very tasty and the burgers were basic but tasted great. Prices very reasonable. Would highly recommend and will come back again
Good food, kind staff and fast at making the food. Recommend this place for a delicious meal!
Second Cheapest Fat Boy burger in the city! Have been a regular since ages, definitely recommend.
First time ordering off skip the dishes and very impressed. I ordered the clubhouse and Caesar salad combo. Large salad portion and the clubhouse which is made with fresh turkey reminded me of the old wagon wheel restaurant. Highly recommended!
Ordered in for a real clubhouse sandwich, a perfect sandwich! A good wholesome egg salad sandwich, which was delicious. Have to get these on white bread folks. And a simple, no frills, yummy fried egg sandwich. Just what I wanted, thank you!
Drop by this nice little restaurant for a early lunch. We ordered chicken noodle soup and a cheese burger with everything on it. The soup is said to be home made. I am sorry to say it was not good. Adequate amount of noodles but nothing else. I never seen or tasted any chicken . One small piece of celery and a couple specks of carrots. Yikes I give the soup 1 star. The burger was homemade and was tasty but nothing to brag about it was less than average. I give it 2 stars The restaurant looked very clean and service was ok I give it a three star. I did not try the breakfast here just the lunch.
Had the double fat boy burger and it was good stuff. Staff is old so the may seem unfriendly but they are just old.
