1st time using this bank not a good experience will not be back , I opened up a new TD chequing account online, to complete the opening of this new account I had to go to the TD branch in Okotoks to show my ID, while I was there showing my ID, I told the cashier that I had a cheque with me that I wanted to deposit into this new account upon giving her the cheque she informed me that the cheque was dated before I opened the account so she would not deposit the cheque into the accoung the cheque was not stale dated- It was about 3 weeks old and I totally understood that there would be a hold on this cheque tell it cleared the bank so I informed the teller she needed to close the account, I called the 866 TD number and chatted with a TD specialist she was very surprised to hear that I was not able to deposit my cheque . I proceeded to open up another TD account online but this time went to Calgary took the same cheque with me- NO PROBLEMS they made the deposit into my new account immediately - I guess TD Okotoks has there own set of TD rules
Worst branch I have ever been to, this is in a big town with over 50,000 population; they should have more than just two tellers working at 6pm... I told the front counter person and she said there are only so many people in a condescending way, I responded with a snap and collected myself by saying I'm sorry I work 12h days and I am in the heat. She then said indignantly "well that's your problem." This is not at all acceptable to say to a customer! I do not need this location to ever serve me again. Do not come here is my recommendation since it's such a cheap place that doesn't even have a front desk person. You're location has a very bad rating... be better, every customer should be treated the same no matter their account balance.
I called a couple of times to speak to a mortgage specialist. My name and number was taken down each time I called but I never received a call back. I just switched 2 mortgages to TD and could have used some help. Very disappointing.
Been going to this branch 2 years. Always clearly communicated and understandable advice. Low waiting times in line up. Friendly professional staff. Never any problems.
Personal banking associates really need to work on communication skills. Difficult to get a hold of, emails were ignored, phone calls returned days later. Financial knowledge is limited. Tellers are however always friendly and Rhonda is wonderful.
first time using this branch and the experience was negative. I'm not positive who the employee was but I asked a simple task of depositing my cheque into my account only to be questioned non-stop about my account and the cheque that I was receiving which my records shoe that I receive the cheque regularly. I wanted to do more banking but my experience with the Asian woman put my off and I just left without completing all of my banking needs.
Terrible service and below average staff. Very little knowledge on any finacial services and borderline unprofessional tellers. Resorted to telling me to do it online. Love TD but this branch needs to be corporately re-trained I’ll be driving to Calgary to bank next time.
This was the single worst experience I have had with a bank. The teller was rude unhelpful and told me i needed to get more I.D and set up an appointment to open a checking account... there was one other person in the bank at the time so they weren't busy. I then drove into the city of Calgary and got everything i needed done with no hassle Do not use this . location staff is a joke and do not know or are too lazy to do there jobs if i could give no stars i would
**Not great service. I use TD's home and auto insurance products. Have never had an issue. Reliable. However, dealing with the TD branch in Okotoks they seem to have issues returning calls. As a client, I wanted to use their services however after 2 emails, 1 voice mail and multiple calls no VM left I gave up. This was over a 2 week period. I ended up going with a broker for our new mortgage. The service was prompt and professional. Try another branch in Calgary if you're looking for quality service.
I have been going here for change weekly and I seem to always get the same lady. She needs me to repeat what I need 3 or 4 times and doesn't seem to know how many coins in a roll. Today she thought I needed 3 rolls of loonies for $25. Frustrating.
