My husband & I just sold our home and was referred to Lawyer Alvin Slayer. This was our first experience with him ( and Taylor McCaffrey LLP ) and i must say it was an excellent one!... i appreciated his honesty and straight forward communication approach. Checked online and Taylor MacCaffey emailed me back recommending a certain lawyer whom was fine to deal with but never mentioned any type of fee that was associated with the visit. Like the rest of us, I assumed there was a 15/30 min grace period. There isn't! Was there for approximately 35 mins stating my small claim issue and then they sent me a bill for $300+ stating I was there for over an hour. i understand lawyers charge but they should have notified me of legal fees before proceeding especially for that $ value. I didnt return. Be aware!

Slow, won't respond, no explanations ever given. Glad I only used them for a house title transfer. Don't ask questions because you won't like there incoherent answers that don't make sense. When issues pop up they will always blame the other lawyers. No worries someone will have possession of your old house for a month or more and you still won't know what's going on.
