Horrible experience all around. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone. I was taken for $1500.00 by Frank Conigio for absolutely nothing. Had to fire him and hire another lawyer from another company. And that lawyer won my case because he cared to represent me. I'd never ever recommend this company to anyone...

Do not use this firm. I employed their services to draft a separation agreement for myself and my ex wife. There were no child custody issues and no division of property issues, as my ex and I are very civil with each other. My lawyer, Erin E., utilized exorbitant amounts of back-and-forth correspondence with opposing counsel to rapidly boost the billable hours on my file. Additionally, I was forced to re-write a document personally as the original drafted by Erin E.'s legal assistant did not convey my intentions. This occurred despite my meeting with Erin E. just days prior. In the end, 2 years later, the total cost of my separation agreement was $7,921.48. I requested the cost be reviewed by arbitration through the Law Society of Manitoba, and not surprisingly, Erin E. declined arbitration. I am currently seeking for the cost to be examined in the Court of Queen's Bench, however, since it has now been over a year since my final statement of account, I may not be able to proceed. I submit this review in hopes of preventing others from being exploited. Save yourself a headache. Go elsewhere.

Mr. Sellen and his assistant Sandra took the time to explain everything to me in detail, and answered all my questions when selling my condo and purchasing a house. I would highly recommend using this firm.

I am a bit biased because I work here, but I think the firm strikes a good balance between being large enough to have lawyers help you with whatever your issue, but yet small enough that you'll get to know your lawyer and not simply be a "file #."
