Full NHL sized rink kept in great repair. Free public skating and shinny for adults and kids daily, plus rental opportunities. If it's not rented, they keep shinny or public skating open longer!! There are heated change rooms, and the rink is covered.
Heads up there on line schedule is wrong. Went with my kids to skate. Got told it's hockey time now even though online and their paper copy schedule showed 1 to 4 sun skating. If you go onto the Tay township website specifically look under port rink schedule you will then see the actual schedule. Maybe they should mention that when you search their other schedules. Staff not friendly or helpful.
I like how this rink is sheltered from the weather, refrigerated surface, NHL regulation size, open to the air from two sides, change rooms, and public use. Great job Tay township!
Great place to play Pickleball when it is raining and Tay staff are most accommodating
The ice is usually not great and the staff are not friendly
