Fascinating ship. Lots of history. Lots of stairs so not wheelchair access. It looks like it,s going to be moving to Midland town docks this summer.

This was a great tour - well worth the time and money. My mother and I did the full tour (upper decks and engine room) and thoroughly enjoyed it. The ship is beautiful - spectacularly restored - and much of the interior and furnishings are original. The tour is comprehensive, and covers almost all of the ship. I understand from talking to staff at the Keewatin that the wheelhouse is currently being renovated, so that will become part of the tour at a later date. A number of cabins are set up for specific years and contain fashions and accoutrements from those periods, which provides an interesting slice of history. Our guide, Krystal, was knowledgeable and entertaining, and provided a fantastic tour. I would highly recommend this if you are in the area. Or travel to it. Port McNicholl is in a pretty part of Ontario - there are plenty of other things to do in the area if you were to take a day trip.

The tour guide was very informative. I don't normally enjoy tours but this one was really interesting and enjoyable. Would highly recommend stopping in for a visit.

Taken here by my partner as a birthday surprise and absolutely loved it. The grounds are well managed, the washrooms are clean, and Michelle was a very charming, knowledgeable tour guide (even incorporating the only two small children into the tour by calling them her "first mates" and giving them little tasks to help keep them occupied). I definitely recommend a visit if you are into marine history, naval history, the Edwardian era, steamships, or history as a general topic.
