I have been in business for 25 years! Roy & Dan have done my personal and business taxes for the last three. I wish I met them earlier. They have saved me thousands of dollars. They now do my families taxes. I have referred several friends and clients to them and they all--100%--extremely happy and are now clients. Great pricing!
I would give this place zero stars if that was an option. I really wanted to like this place and thought I would give them a try, well this is my experience...I dropped my US and Canadian taxes off on March 9th and was told it would take 3-4 days to complete. After 1 week I called to follow up and I was advised that it would take 2-3 more days and I had the secretary confirm my phone number to ensure they could get a hold of me. Time passed and still no phone call, nothing. April 1st I called Roy at 9:15am and inquired about my taxes and wondered what the heck is taking so long as it was about 3.5 weeks later. Roy stated that he would grab my file quickly and call me right back! Well it must have been an April fools joke because he didn’t have the decency to call me back at all. The next day, April 2nd I decided to show up and collect my file. The office is extremely disorganized, files everywhere and my file was no where to be found. Unfortunately Roy wasn’t in the office so his colleagues were trying to locate my file. After 20 minutes they found it and noticed that in 3.5 weeks Roy hasn’t even started my taxes!! Horrible horrible service, stay away. I will go to another company and have them filed properly without issues as I have done for the past 20 years. Thanks for wasting my time.
I go here every year since locating this service after moving to Welland. Great, friendly customer service, coupled with honest, reliable and fast turnaround keep me coming back. I appreciate their patience in answering my tax questions in a way that I can understand. Thank you.
Tax Depot in Niagara did my taxes and I put up 24 pictures in their office when they were just starting out, two accountants…Up to that point their walls were bare...In addition I loaned them a radio and some of my Japan pottery for their reception area, the pictures made their offices into a welcoming place. Other clients I met had told me so… They were working on a case for me Small Claims Court, I paid 2500.00 in advance. Nothing happened and I finally went to the court myself to enquire, and I was given copy of the report, and discovered the case had been closed earlier in November, when 3 months later in January they were telling me it would continue. I was too trusting... I went angry and immediately to their office and said "You either pay me for the pictures or I take them down now” They haggled the price and gave me a cheque, which they then later cancelled at the bank. I was told to pick up my pictures, which they had taken down and stacked face to picture wire causes scratches I went back again to Niagara to collect them... Of course I had wanted to take them down carefully myself. They had money to pay for the big sign outside in the parking lot, but no funds to pay me, they wanted my pictures free of charge I guess
Terrible and unprofessional service, we had our taxes filled here. My wife’s taxes were incorrectly filed which resulted in a overpayment to the government of $1400, which took 6 months to receive back. Myself on the other hand required More documentation to support my assessment for which I did all the leg work in acquiring documents, mostly because when we called for assistance in the matter we were told that people had taken the day off or had chosen to go golfing. No attempts to follow up on issues were made on their behalf at any time. Then when the correspondence came in regarding the matter I was told ADDITIONAL FEE’S were being charged for forwarding a document I had acquired. Looking back all the telltale signs were all there, unorganized from the start with reception to sitting down to file with a man who had a certificate from H&R BLOCK with an attempt to black out the company’s name with a sharpie. If you like paying for over priced taxes and hidden fees and no customer service while waiting several months to receive a refund for money you shouldn’t have had to pay. This place is for you!!!! I highly recommend filing elsewhere

Great people offering an excellent service all for a reasonable price. They were able to process my return quickly and get me the best refund I ever received, can't ask for more.
