Well I don’t Usually Complain… The Food Was actually excellent, but the Service was Horrible. Waitress spent all of her time visiting with Locals and other Waitress. I had to call other Waitress several times, for drink refills etc… Our Waitress never came back to ask about our meal or to check if we needed anything. Great workers but disappointed with the portion of food i had for the money. A close to $5.00 taco with maybe 2 tablespoons of beef and a little cheese. Was very good though
Just moved to Portage and wanted a great meal via Skip....TU did not disappoint, deep fried Pickles were fantastic, and the Wife and I both enjoyed our burgers so much...Great Job!!!
I went for wing night last Thursday and the waitress was obviously new, that being said.. there was no reason for her to be so slow. I had to ask another waitress for takeout containers then get up and find her to pay. Tonight I wanted nachos and they were out of chips. The manager on duty admitted he didn't order them when they ran out. Doubt I'll be back until the staff are managed better. @Canada Inns let me know!
We had a Christmas curling tournament here and it was an awesome venue for it. Great ice and cold beer.
It’s hit and miss. Sometimes the food is good, most of the time is below average. Sometimes you get served within a reasonable amount of time, sometimes you end up waiting half an hour for water. Sometimes the staff is nice, usually they’re annoyed with some other customer and take it out on you although I blame drunken men for that. I’d be ticked too with the way some of the patrons treat the waitresses nowadays Also, really weird location. I lived in portage for four months before discovering that there was a tavern. Why is it tucked in the back like that?
Drinks were great but the appetizers were overcooked and cold.
Went as a group and it ruined our evening. Brutally slow service, I mean brutal. Our appetizers took well over an hour to arrive and we kept having to ask our server about the food. She wasn’t making the situation much better either. She was rude and when the food finally did arrive it was cold and the order was mostly wrong. Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!
