Tavern on the Wharf

I looked at the menu online before going. There was a white bean hummus with pita listed that sounded delicious. However it isn't on the menu. I ended up ordering a veggie pizza without cheese. It was ok though pricey. Service was great and staff friendly.

The location, view and service was great. My wife and I thought the presentations of the appetizer and meals were nice. However there was no flavor other than the parmesan fries and the lobster cake sauce. The lobster roll and backed cod were not flavorful in the least.

Great location right next to the water with good views. With a location like this I expected the food to be mediocre, but in fact it was excellent, as was the service. The veggie burger was really delicious, home made and original, so good we went back again the following night.

We stumbled on this pace while driving through town. The scenery is great, and the food was very good. Service was great as well. Friendly staff. Check out the buffet on Sunday's

For my best friends birthday we decided to stay in downtown Plymouth and have a night without our kids. Our second stop of the evening was at the tavern on the wharf, for a drink. We both ordered margaritas her's regular, mine the special blackberry version listed on their menu. I was disgusted with the taste but thought it might have been the blackberries being bad. My friend asked me to taste hers and the same dishwater soap taste, to much sour or I am not even sure. We were unable to drink them, the bar tender ignored our attempt to signal her even when she came over with the bill, she placed it down without eye contact and walked away. After wincing through a few more terrible sips we decided we couldn't bare it any longer, and without getting any attention we paid and left. However, the issue didn't end there, for the rest of the evening we had upset stomachs and felt sick. Really ruined our one night out together in years without children and husbands. I would not recommend this place as a pit stop for drinks!!!
