East Bay Grille

UPDATE 1/19/2018 Everything has changed again. It's been awhile but my wife's company had a dinner here tonight and everything was excellent, much credit to our fine and attentive server Tanya. There were quite a few of us and everyone raved about the food. I had one of the best steaks that I have ever had. Pays to check back in once in a while. We used to dine here quite frequently, they really do have a high level of skill in the kitchen, the food is hot, fresh and delicious. It is fun to sit outside in back at a high top and look at the harbor. The reason we don't go there anymore is that the level of service has steadily declined to the point of being annoying. Servers stand around and chat with each other instead of seeing if I am in need of anything. One server waited exclusively on her boyfriend and stood next to his table 100% of the time. Maybe they need a change in management.

You wrote a review for East Bay Grille 2 minutes ago 5.0 star rating 12/18/2017 The food is fantastic, I had a dozen oysters and the Ahi Tuna and it was great. Excellent service while sitting at the bar, very attentive and they make a solid Mimosa. Apparently too good because I dropped my money clip with $500-600 dollars in it and didn't realize until I was home hours later. I had written the money off as my mistake and I called them just to bring closure to my stupidity but to my surprise they found the money and had put it aside. Not only will you enjoy an excellent meal but you will know you are surrounded by good, honest people. Thank you for the great experience.

Great location in Plymouth. In the summer and warm weather there is outside seating that it terrific. The restaurant is great on a winter day's visit to Plymouth. Sunny seats looking out to the harbor. Good food. Walk around Plymouth.

I have been going to the East Bay Grill for as long as it has been open. I have never had a bad meal there. The seafood Christopher is terrific. Yes it is a bit expensive, but you are right by the water with nice views and an outdoor bar and patio in the summer months. Most places by the water are usually expensive. But I find the waitstaff to be attentive and friendly. Some visits have been better than others, but I have never been disappointed. It does get extremely busy in the summer and on weekends. It is a very popular place. That may account for some of the negative reviews here. It is hard to please everybody and be consistently good at all times . And when you are paying a bit more for a meal you don't want a sub par lunch or dinner. But I feel most people would be very pleased with this restaurant choice, in my experience.

Love the winter special deals! Dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine and dessert for $50! What a fantastic Deal can’t beat it. Great service Keith was our waiter and food was delicious
