I was in the area for less than a week and we stopped by twice. That speaks for itself that the food, quality and speed were worthy of a second stop! I tried the gyro and the gyro salad. Both were very good, I did wish the gyro had feta cheese on it however.
Great food, amazing friendly service, clean restaurant and proper presentation. I’m not sure if the man who took my order was the owner but They definitely take pride in their work. It’s been a while since I seen a place like this and it’s worth the 5 stars and a tip .
Great food and great customer service! The chicken gyro was so yummy. French fries and onion rings were both delicious! Would have added a photo of the gyro, but it was too delicious to stop eating for a photo! Would recommend to a friend, and would visit again!
Taste of Windy City is great. Real close to the Chicago dogs in Illinois. Gyros are also very good. We enjoy the friendly owner and staff. Our go-to for a taste of Chicago.Food: 5/5
Been coming here for years...still a great place for high quality, fresh ingredients at a fair price. You've Gotta try the Italian beef combo beef + sausage on soft bread roll dipped in au jus + provolone and peppers, Gyro, or Philly CheeseSteak sandwich. The side salad is a great value, and the owner is a genuinely nice man who appreciates his customers. Very friendly staff.
We had three orders and didn’t receive part of our order. When we called the restaurant to try and figure it out, we were on the phone for at least 5 minutes arguing with them about our order. They kept saying that we were wrong, what we ordered wasn’t correct, that the menu we looked at and read to them as we called the order in was incorrect. Told us we had to contact doordash ourselves to resolve the menu issue.… like what?? Doordash order didn’t go through so we had to call them and place our order. As we were talking and trying to figure it out, they kept laughing at us. Food was good, but after this service we will never go back there again.
I got a burger and onion ring and I can’t complain. I wouldn’t say it was amazing, but the food was good. I’d prefer to support local businesses instead of the chains right down the street
