Taste of Pho

Drive by this place all the time and decided to finally try it. Service was very quick and the food was good. Had their #12 house special along with spring rolls and fried wontons. Bowl was good with a nice clear soup base. Could have done with a bit more beef flavor but, generally pretty good. Spring rolls and fried wontons were really crunchy and freshly made. Would like to try their rice plates in the future.

The worse part is after telling the server multiple times no greens or onions, we received our order full of greens and onions. We asked for a bowl to separate the toppings ourselves and asked for extra soup because we did not want anyone tampering the food. Our server did not bring out any extra soup until we asked again. We showed up after 2 pm when the restaurant was not busy. Broth is a touch sweet with a light layer of oil. Broth was flavourful. There was a decent amount of noodles. There was not much meat toppings. Most people will not find any issues with the food. Service is lacking. There was no apology. The food is authentic as I saw a few Vietnamese customers dining and chatting to the server in their language. Usually I would take this as a good sign for the food quality at any restaurant.

Authentic Vietnamese Food! #41 Hu Tieu My Tho soup/dry is the best in Metro Vancouver. #50a Bun Mam is very good since they have fresh toppings squid, prawn, fish, crispy pork belly. The soup base is not too strong, so even many foreigners like it.

Arrived at an empty facility during a snowy day. Me and my party decided to try pho. Customer service has been lacking from two out of three staff members, almost as though they did not want to be there. No. Ambiance no TV turned on. The meal was pretty good up until we noticed a critter walking on the wall that is a cockroach. We All lost our appetite after seeing the cockroach and we still paid for our entire meal despite their food and safety regulation breach. I just hope that we don't get infested at our home because of this experience.

We just discovered this liittle restaurant and I'm so glad we did. They have some of the best vietnamese food I've had in the Lower Mainland. All the dishes I and my family tried were delicious. The service was really good too. We will certainly be going back.Food: 5/5

Great authentic quality of foods I've ever seen. Especially the special noodles in soup. I can't recall the exact name. Also another "Hu tiếu "noodles in soup, highly recommend. Great service staffs. I'd definitely come back in the near future for sure.

Huge portions double what I could eat in one sitting. Reasonable prices given the amount of food. Good service and friendly workers. Cute but low-key decor/ambience. Very comfortable. Large selection of food available/large menu.Food: 5/5

My go-to Vietnamese restaurant in Surrey! Staffs are nice and friendly on site. I come here for quick eats quite often. The pricing is also pretty reasonable and decent portion. They sometimes have special dishes that they make over the weekend, the Vietnamese fermented fish soup. What I like bout their "bun mam" is that they also add roasted pork in the soup. Super delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Taste of Pho - dropped in for a random visit today. Enjoyed a grilled chicken sub for $6.00! It was large and it was on a lovely fresh crusty roll. Will look forward to returning to try other items. Update, tried awesome chicken & veggie noodle dish.

The food was pretty decent as far as pho places go this is one of the better ones in the area. The soup itself is a bit on the sweet side but not bad. The service though was very good. The people here are attentive and they care. The chicken and rice is a big fan favourite.
