Taste of Philly Cheesesteak

Was in the Kitchener area visiting family and friends. This is one of two places I HAD to eat at. After being away for 9 years, I walked in to a smile and hello from Matthew the owner. The food is bar none the best Philly Cheesesteak around. The restaurant is very clean and the ingredients are always fresh. Looking forward to the next time I’m in the area! Thank you Matthew, it was nice seeing you again.

Got the chicken breast pita for only 6.49 which was such a steal and tasted great. My friend got the Philly cheesesteak which was a bit pricey but looked really good. The owner was super friendly and personable as well - we’ll definitely come back again :

A fantastic lunch at a reasonable price, with friendly and kind service in a very clean space. Freshly made with sautéed veggies, takes 10 minutes. So worth it. Chicken pita special is very delicious.

Got the philly steak sandwich and I don't think I ever want to eat anything else ever again! It was SO delicious. Beautiful ingredients. Owner is very welcoming and nice.

Love the cheesesteak, and the owner is super personable and friendly! I see many comments complaining that it’s not a “true” Philly cheesesteak, but in my view that’s no different than a Chinese take out place serving “Chinese” food you’d never find in China, or Domino’s serving pizza Italians would turn their nose up against. It’s just a nice Philly cheesesteak style sandwich! Just be warned that the shop doesn’t take credit - only cash or debit which is a real annoyance since I use mobile payments everywhere and rarely have my wallet on me!

It tastes so homemade in a delicious way. Always fresh quality components, respectful service and fair price. My wife was skeptical before trying not her type of cuisine, but now she is excited whenever I propose to get some Philly.

Had to change the review due to miscommunication between myself to my partner interpreting the communication to the owner. I am deaf, that's why. Food is mediocre at the best, good price and hot sandwich off grills. Way better than Subways. We enjoy it but we wish the clear indication of what condoniments is being used in sandwiches but I now understood it takes some talking to the cook and make right orders. Owner takes time to listen and respond even to the criticism in below. He is correct, I thought I don't want to be charged for remake and do not want to keep the original sandwich for son. Will try again and hopefully we will have clear choice to order, my son did not take his time so this bad review is on me and I apologize. We will come back and try again, thank you Matthew.

I do not have enough good things to say about this place, the food, and more importantly the owner. This is the kindest man you will ever meet. He cares so much and puts so much passion into each thing he makes. You can tell everything he does comes from his heart and soul. The food is absolutely amazing pretty crazy how hard it is to find a good caesar salad in kitchener but the salad, the wraps, everything is just so spot on. I wish everyone would pay this place a visit! Prices are good too. Love this man.

Great food. Don't waste $7 on fries. They're frozen and way overpriced. But the wraps are fantastic although there was no cheese on our Philly Cheese wraps.

Amazing food, can’t stress enough how good the sirloin steak sandwich was. Owner was very nice even offering a chance to try the steak before I selected my toppings. Must try place in Kitchener
