I enjoy every time I come. Delicious butter chicken I get it medium hot. Garlic Naan delicious as well. Looking to try other dishes.
This has quickly become our favorite place for Indian food in Madison. Consistent and tasty every single time. We placed an order last night and despite running very late to pick it up, they were so welcoming and kind when I finally made it in. Definitely recommend for great food, and great staff!
Ordered lamb biryani and chicken pakora. Both items were big joke. Glad I’m visiting Madison only for a week. Big NO GO
Restaurant was only open for takeout when we went. Bature were so good- soft and crispy! So were the fish pakore and the chutneys that came with them.Food: 5/5
Got the mushroom masala and it was flavored delicious! The sauce was a perfect cream base and it was a great balance with the sweet from the coconut not being too much and the as someone who does not enjoy ginger alone, it I never would have noticed if I didn't read the menu. Would recommend you try for some authentic Indian taste!
We've been coming to Taste of India for about a year and a half now, and their food is always fantastic. Dimpi is always so nice, and at this point I think I could just call and say my name and she'd know the order. We've never had a miss from here; their food is incredibly consistent, no matter how many times we come. I've had recommendations for other Indian restaurants, but it's just not worth trying something new when I know things from here will be perfect!
I ordered the vegetable korma with garlic naan and kheer . The vegetable korma was loaded with delicious veggies, but I like a bit more sauce. Over all it was ok the garlic naan was super garlicy which I absolutely loved!! The kheer was obviously super yummy
I was looking for delivery options in Madison while staying at Best western Inn Tower hotel. This one had good reviews so I picked this restaurant for my food. I ordered Onion bhaji, aloo paratha and goat biriyani. Let me start from the delivery, the guy called me and seem to ask me where to deliver, after spending 10 mins with him on the phone, I realized he was asking me where to deliver inside the hotel. I told him to come to the lobby and I will meet him there. When I reached the lobby, there was no one and I looking around for a few mins, i saw my order left on a table I the hotel lounge area. Super. Now for the food. Onion bhaji was tasty but very oily. Aloo paratha was cold and it was nothing to talk about. The goat in the biriyani was tough to chew and the rice was under cooked. The taste was not great. So overall my experience was not good.
One of the best Indian restaurants in Madison! Buffet is always hot and full, with food rotating on a daily basis. Great price for lunch buffet. Service is excellent, super nice servers. Drinks are always refilled on time. Love the samoosas, naan, tikka masala, goat curry, and biryani rice. Everything taste great! Try the fried naan! Mango ice cream is pretty good, creamy and smooth. Try the mango milkshake. They offer dinner specials. The menu includes northern and southern Indian plates. Also, they have some beers from India.
First time at this place. Very welcoming staff that accommodated our carry out order, even though they were closing soon. Our food was ready in 15 minutes! The butter chicken was the best thing I have eaten in my entire life, and the chicken biryani was a huge portion and a great deal for the price- we are so happy to have leftovers. We will definitely be coming back!
